I liked the location next to the Timberlake with an excellent restaurant.

Good Breakfast

Room smelled like a wet dog. There's a chair in the room that looks like animals were sleeping in it.

Price was good. Rooms clean and modern.

Breakfast no protein/fat… all carbs, except egg sandwiches which there were none one morning. The air conditioner is loud…

The price was the best of any equivalent hotel in Grand Rapids MN that we could find. I loved the wafflemaker. And the good variety of creamers for coffee.

The front door did not open and close properly so that was a little scary. There were only styrofoam plates which I dislike from an environmental standpoint, and also they are not good for microwaving breakfast items. The front desk guy on Sunday morning also had to do the breakfast - he did a good job, but it was stressful. When fully booked, you need separate people for those jobs. The room next to us was marked that it had a dog. I wondered if our room had had dogs or cats in it before us - one can never get all the allergens out.

Good location. Close to Judy Garland Museum and several restaurants.

BEWARE if you book here! Ratings I read before booking said this was a very good & clean motel. We had opposite experience. Our room smelled horrible!! Combination wet dog & musty! The recliner in the room was very worn in areas and what I would call filthy!. Being in the room for a short time my allergies kicked in. We asked to be moved to a different room, but none available. The one very good experience was the person on duty refunded our room with no hassle. He was very understanding! Luckily we were able to find an available room at a hotel in the same area. I don't know if this is just one room that is so horrible at this place....as all the ratings I read were very good. My advice if you book here, check the room upon arrival and have a backup plan!

Room was good size with small foldout couch and chair. Breakfast was good.
