Super 8 by Wyndham Bath Hammondsport Area

The staff was friendly and nice The surprise was that there was an iron in the room and it was exactly in place

It was not stated that there are stairs on the way to the room and there is no elevator. We had to carry the luggage up the stairs by ourselves (single stairs) The towels were stained and gave the impression that they were not clean. Breakfast without vegetables and without cheese.

This property is old, the first floor is below ground level giving it a "bomb shelter" feel, Two dehumidifiers run constantly on the first floor hallway, yet it still had a musty smell. The room/bathroom was the smallest hotel room I have ever had to stay in. The breakfast offering was sparse, with the only hot food coming from the toaster or microwave. That Wyndham Corporation charged me $325.00 for this substandard room is the epitome of corporate greed. They took advantage of the fact that most other area hotels were 100% booked and charged 3+ times what this room is worth. Staff was very responsive to our needs.

Cost was good. Price was good.

Bathroom baseboard was in bad shape. Towels had stains. Complementary Breakfast was poor. Choice was one of two apples, two eggo waffles or white bread.

Complimentary breakfast consisted of only toast and cereal, and coffee.

The staff member at the front desk was inviting and professional. Once in the room there was no remote control for the TV, which was provided by the front desk . The tube did not drain very well while showering, it would be ankle deep by the time you finish. Exhaust fan did not work well either and drywall repairs are still visible

Staff was friendly. Easy access to highway.

No cold water in the shower, almost burned myself. Wi-Fi didn’t work. No remote for tv. Room description stated free breakfast and there was NOTHING.
