Super 8 by Wyndham Kennett

Booking. Com booked me a hotel an hour away from my destination. At this Super 8 in Kennett, when I was in Poplar Bluff. Booking. Com said they just needed the manager at The Kennett location to release the booking, so they wouldn't charge me, they instructed me to call the hotel, When I did he was extremely rude. I had him on speaker phone with my husband sitting here. He said "today is your day to get screwed, maybe tomorrow I'll get screwed, just the way the World works, get a life, and then hung up on me. Booking. Com says they are so working on getting me a refund. If I do not get the refund, the entire 3 hrs experience I had with booking.com and the hotel will become public, I recorded everything. To bad this particular survey only allows photos.... You should ad audio..

The location

It was dirty inside, the woman at the counter wasn't friendly at all. When we got there, she was asleep in the back room and had to be woken up to check us in. And this was around 6pm. The ac/heater kept shutting off and didn't want to work. The bathrooms were dirty. I wont ever be back and I won't recommend that. Hotel to anyone.

Good location in the center of town. The staff while very limited, was very polite.

The hallway and room were both dirty, however it looks as if they're trying to remodel. The chair in the room had a multitude of stains on it, and the bathtub/shower had a mold like substance in, that we went to the store and purchased our own cleaner.

The Super 8 was ok on cleanliness. No live critters that I saw. Beds were clean and overall appearance was ok. It could use a deep cleaning and outer blankets had pet hair on them. My thoughts are that they are using the wrong type of blanket that is hard to clean because of the type of material it's made from. There was no coffee maker which is important to me. I need my coffee. The desk chair was unusable. The cloth chair had a towel hanging over the back as a cover. There was a red substance on the bathroom door that we determined to be red nail polish. (I hope). There was a washer and dryer for occupant use down the hall but the dryer wouldn't dry the clothes and we put over $6 worth of quarters in before they were dry enough to wear. Overall the Super 8 was ok for a quick stop but not where I would spend many nights.

My wife is disabled we ask for a accessible room.they did not have one and did not inform us until after we got to room and found it was not accessible. She was unable to use the bathroom facilities and spent most of the night crying in pain.do not trust this motel they are jerks

The room was clean but the bathroom needed remodeling. Needed new flooring in hallway. Very basic.
