SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Bettendorf

Overall this is a fairly good value considering the price of hotel rooms today. The room was clean and comfortable, conveniently located for our travel and we paid at least $50 less than a comparable chain. The TV went thru a 35-40 setup process with DirecTv which was annoying but it worked fine once completed. I assume it had never been set up and it would have been nice if the hotel would have completed this prior to any guests stay. There are soaps and shampoos in the shower which is nice, but the body wash was completely empty so again, would have preferred the hotel had better prepared this room before our stay. Not sure I would stay at a SureStay anywhere else, but this one was OK.

No hot tub says there could use the pool cleaning was the only reason why i booked for a pool and hot tub

We got dirty room with stains bed sheets, mold on shower curtain and poop on the toilet seat. 8:15 and no more warm food ( I don’t even know what supposed to be in the heater, probably sausage and eggs) smell in this hotel was terrible- like old moldy church. We checked out day ealier and manager said that he is sending money back and will be on my account in 3 business days and it’s been 10 business days and no money. When I called there he tried to lie to me that he is not the man who was there.. I remember his voice so good!!!

Checked in and went to the room and checked out immediately after. I definitely would avoid this hotel.

Don’t stay here!! Place should be closed!! Bed bugs in multiple rooms and now many people are fighting for a refund. We had to leave hotel at 11pm after discovering the bugs.

We were staying here for a baseball tournament. Our room was dirty and my husband asked for a new comforter and the kid at the front desk said

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this establishment. The conditions we encountered were unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness. Upon returning to our room at approximately 11:30 PM on 5/17/25 after a long day of baseball, we discovered an unsanitary situation in the bedding which caused us significant distress. Unfortunately, we did not document this with photographs at the time due to the immediate need to vacate the premises and secure alternative accommodations. Kicking myself for this! I have attempted to contact MAC directly by phone to discuss this matter, BUT KEEP GETTING HUNG UP ON. This lack of responsiveness and unprofessional management it is deeply concerning and further exacerbates the negative experience we endured. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you are seeing this and thinking of booking with Mac and Sam at SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western in Bettendorf Iowa, DO NOT you’re better off just sleeping in your car. If I could post with leaving ZERO STARS would.

The pictures online were deceptive. The hotel had a foul odor, was unclean, there were multiple yellow and dark stains on the bed and BUGS in the bed. We left as soon as we realized there were bugs, but not before our luggage had been exposed to the building for several hours while we were gone. I am disappointed in the hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. It was difficult to get a refund. I never leave reviews but I would not want another family to endure the stress we did.

The hotel was infested with bed bugs! Our whole team had to leave and hotel.com is making it extremely difficult for me to get a refund!!!
