Baymont by Wyndham Panama City Beach

They never come to clean my room, I woke up every morning to my room floor standing in water told the front desk and they never did anything about it or didn’t even try to move me. Hateful behavior and attitudes the food was nasty and the boiled eggs were old and smelly

Terrible. It was just dirty outside and inside. The structure itself was crumbling in places. Felt very unsafe. They charge a resort fee for what i have no clue. The towels were just handtowels and yhe staff were beyond rude upon arrive. The key card had to be repogramed almost everytime we left. Read the reviews and believe them. Terrible place

We got there and checked in. No towels- just two bathmats. I asked the cleaning staff I saw on the floor for towels and they told me I had to go downstairs. The downstairs staff said they didn’t have any, but she would get some sent to my room. That never happened The whole place was nasty- dirty/ stained sheets, random stains on the walls, bugs in the tub. We ended up checking out that night after calling and complaining about the conditions and getting (part of) our money back because it was so unacceptable.

There was nothing positive about the Baymont at PCB. Firstly, the pictures online and the acrual property are clearly not the same. The pictures show an updated, clean, and spacious room, when in fact, the rooms are dirty, old and outdated, and in poor condition overall. Secondly, when asked for clean towels, staff informed us they did not have towels. The place was disgusting. There was mold on the walls, there were bugs everywhere, on every wall, the shower, the sink, everywhere. One of the mattresses had a giant hand sized burn hole in and and both had dirty covers. The ceiling was falling apart and there were cobwebs hanging over the beds. There were so many bugs that we were awaken to bugs in our bodies! Our days was 4 nights and we only stayed 2, and that was only because we could not find a room somewhere else. When we did finally find a room, we cancelled the remaining nights and requested a refund for those days. We were told by several different people that we could not get a refund because of the cancelation policy. We did not leave because we wanted too, we left because we HAD to. Overall, this place was completely terrible and i would not recommended to the person I hated the most. We deserve to be refunded at least half of our money back, if not, all of it for the complete disrespect of advertising false pictures and the disgusting nature of the entire room.

They gave a key to someone not registered to my room.. TWICE!! They don’t check whose name is on the room and certainly don’t ask for ID. I came back to my room to someone in the room going through my items. When I confronted front desk and told them, she acted as if it was no big deal. Then it happened AGAIN!!!!! Not to mention, all breakfast items were out or broken. Juice machine didn’t even have empty cartridges in it. Just empty. Coffee the same. Asked for extra towels after 3 days and told they didn’t have any. Terrible service. Will not recommend or return.

When we arrived there was no tv or phone. The tv was fixed but no phone cord was ever brought to my room as requested. Upon returning to my room, the tv wouldn't turn on again. The outlets did not work and the bathroom light was the only light source, which was on a timer. We had to keep getting up to turn it back on to see. Maintenance had to remove the smoke alarm battery to stop it from blaring. The tub was rusted and had a dirt ring in it. We didnt receive towels until midday of day 2. I ended up with bed bug bites. I was in town for a funeral and no other rooms were available. I had to use other means to freshen up outside the hotel.This was the Worst hotel experience I have ever had.

This place is old and falling aoart. My bathroom door didnt close, had to use a washcloth to stick the door.

This hotel is a bad value for the money. Positives: under-building parking to keep your vehicle out of the sun. No carpet on floors mean things look cleaner. Negatives: everything is run down, and in poor repair. Broken AC units, ironing boards, and trash are piled in the rear of the building parking lot. "Breakfast" = juice, muffins, and cookies. Not sure what the "resort fee" is for. Ideal hotel for spring break college students looking for a couple of beds and a toilet. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to friends or family.

The room itself was not bad, only issue with the room was the bathroom door was a little messed up but other than that the room was fine. However the staff is awful, they are rude and need training. There’s only one staff member that was nice and the rest need to be trained or fired. Another problem was almost every time we left our room, we had to get our key reprogrammed. We even got locked out of our room until maintenance could come fix it! Even though the room was okay, the staff and door problems were not worth it. Definitely stay somewhere else if you can.
