Baymont by Wyndham Panama City Beach

The proximity to the beach was great.

False advertisement. Rooms and property in deplorable condition with soiled bedding, wet floors, tormented furniture, smell of mold at head board, dirty tubs, stained walls.

I didn’t even read the reviews on this place before booking. I saw it was a Wyndham and the pictures looked like a normal hotel and so I booked thinking it was a safe choice. I was WRONG! The front desk lady was unprofessional and the lobby wreaked of weed. Everything was dirty and unkept. There was only 1 towel and 1 rag even though the room was booked for 4 people and we had to wait forever for someone to bring us more. We showered with our shoes on and wouldn’t even walk around without shoes on. One of our pillows fell in the floor and we didn’t use it the rest of the time because that’s how dirty it was. The iron didn’t work. There was only 1 lightbulb in the light fixture above sink that held 4 lightbulbs so it was dark and I could barely see to do my makeup. Overall the worst experience we’ve had with a hotel. Will definitely pay more attention next time when booking anything and especially at a Wyndham if their standards at this low. Stay away!

El hotel está muy deteriorado y la comida horrible no tenía variedad y muy mal servicio. No lo recomiendo.

They need to update the hotel pictures on the web it’s not what you think you’re getting it’s old and cops where called on the two nights we stayed there

My room had no towels, no tv, and only decaffeinated coffee. The sheets were stained with what looked like pen markings on 1 bed. The other bed the bed cover had holes. We went to the free breakfast. They had cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt that my kids would eat. But they had NO spoons. Also no AC in the breakfast area. They had ocean view rooms open but put us in the pond view side. I wil NEVER stay at a Wyndham hotel again!

First of all the front desk lady did not know how to use the computer she wanted me to pay again even though I paid through hotel.com secand there was no towels and the shower tub was block I told them they inform me that they will come fix it but no one showed up. The room was super dirty in the morning time every gues was mad and complaining about no spoon to eat breakfast no milk I mean there was nothing in the breakfast room.People were eating breakfast with hands it is better to spend the night under a tree rather than in this hotel

The most problematic experience was not having towels or a shower curtain for the first couple of days. Luckily, I had packed several beach towels.

The staff was very rude, the place was dirty they charged me even though I had paid for my stay through Expedia, they had no towels in the rooms, you had to ask for them and they would only give you one and no hand towels or wash rags, they were sorting laundry out on the concrete ground

No towels in room. Customer service was horrible
