Super 8 by Wyndham Crescent City

Wyndham Super 8, Crescent City, Ca Booked 2 nights 1-17/1-19 We needed to leave our room on 1/18, Sunday morning in a hurry. We had our grandchildren with us. We checked in on 1/17. The desk clerk gave us rm 116. It wasn't cleaned yet, he moved us to rm114. The following morning around 7:30, we went into the lobby for breakfast. Our 2 grandchildren opted to eat in the lobby. Around 8 we headed back to our rm. The lobby coffee was empty. My husband, Randy Workman, rang for service to get coffee for our room. A lady came out and asked him for his ID. We were still in pajamas. He said he didn't have it on him all he wanted was coffee for the room. She asked which room number. He said 114. She said no, to go get ID. He got frustrated and came back to the room. I, Christine, grabbed our IDs and walked back to the lobby. I rang the bell and then saw a BRB note on the desk. I walked back to our room. As we were getting dressed a maid walked right in. No knock. We shouted to wait people are in here. Moments later another man came to our rm. Started hollering at us that we were squatting. That was were in the room illegally and YELLED that we needed to get out NOW he's calling the police. We said why are you calling the police? We paid for this room 2 days ago. He never even asked our names as hes yelling that theres no paperwork on our rm and hes calling the police. My Grandson started crying. The man never identified himself. He was so Angry. We packed up fast. I went in to the lobby to drop off our keys and told him we were packed and leaving. I wanted a refund on our room. We had to pay again to get a room thats pet friendly and a non refundable deposit and had to wait all day to check in. I emailed the city business complaint department. I emailed Wyndham. I emailed you. We have never ever been treated like this. Never been arrested never any trouble. We are seniors.

The heater was load and romms weren't clean the was bbq sauce all down the walls and ceiling

The manager was rude we got to the hotel at around 130am Saturday an we were charged for fri full price no break no place to park close to are room an we.are boath handicapped and are room was upstairs

The man who greeted me was not friendly at all. He sat down behind a tall counter, when he spoke it was in low tones and he was looking down not at me and I had trouble hearing him. I joked about my bad hearing not even a smile. When he handed me the key he advised the the door was hard to open and took a certain technique. FIX IT. Breakfast was sparse no eggs, no sausage. For protein there was yogurt other wise all carbs.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor.
