"Wyndam should be ashamed"

Short weekend trip to the area to attend church at Antioch Christian. Being Wyndam rewards members for years we wanted one of their properties and this was the one that was available. Reviews were mixed but we made the reservation. Room STUNK to high heaven (or would that be the opposite place......yes)........a mixture of cigarette smoke and "something". YUCK. We bought air freshener spray and with the window open tried to make it better. That worked only minimally. Bathroom.........tiniest we had ever seen AND the towel rack had fallen off and sitting ON THE FLOOR beside the toilet. Come on! Bed........the absolutely most uncomfortable we have ever found in any hotel. Both of us were miserable after trying to sleep on it. Breakfast........very minimal and nothing a diabetic could eat at all. We chose to eat out which of course adds greatly to the bill for a weekend for older people on Social Security. Did we complain? We felt it would be pointless so we did not. We braved the two nights and then gladly, gladly, gladly drove back home to central Indiana.

We got there late at night and sat there for almost an hour trying to get someone to the front desk. There were beer cans scattered throughout the front office. We ended up call the police who called the owner and got The guys father to go in and wake him up. The room wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been either. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND NASTY ROOM.

No elevator was almost a problem for me but fortunately it was a good day. Some days I might need an elevator. Otherwise, good deal for the money. It was clean and everything worked.

"Don't stay"

Needs to be torn down! The smell was very bad! It felt like someone was looking at me through the pictures on the wall. I slept on top of my robe just so I wouldn't have to touch the bed. It is by far the worst!
