Upon checking in I was told I would have to come up with an additional $200! This is after I booked online with my credit card. This is basically assuming I'm going to trash the room. I'm a local special education teacher, not a criminal! This is highly predjudicial and offensive to me! I asked for my money back and was told I booked through a 3rd party. I never got my money back! Don't book here ever! This is no way to run a business! I'm so unhappy! I will never ever stay at a quality Inn or any of the associated hotels! Instead of checking to see that I booked many other hotels over my lifetime, have a job, and I'm 52 years old, they chose to be lazy and put in place a blanket policy and basically profile potential customers! Shameful! I'm embarrassed to say this hotel exists in my home town! This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had and that includes the post office and MVD!

Nice room, decent breakfast.

Getting the auto email about covid restrictions. I almost cancelled but they were not on "lockdown" because of it after all. Need to change that auto email.
