Super 8 by Wyndham Forrest City AR

Upon arrival all the lights in the lobby were out, completely dark, no one at the front desk and no air conditioning was on. It was stifling and I thought the place had been robbed or something. Only two dingy towels in the bathroom. I do not recommend staying here unless it's an emergency

We didn’t like that the side door was opened with a brick our entire stay. It’s not the best area to have unlocked doors all day and night.

The service was very bad. The day manager i don't know his name was very rude. His attitude was very nasty. Alot of the things in the rooms was not working like the refrigerator, tv, toilet etc. The 1st night we got there we had to change rooms 3 times before we got a room that had everything working. When housekeeping comes in your room to clean up they turn the air off that you leave on too keep room cool. Asked the guy for some towels and with a attitude he said i have to wait on housekeeping when im trying to get ready for my mother's funeral and he won't go get any. I had to walk around and find housekeeping. I had several family members to stay at this hotel this pass weekend for the funeral and everyone had a bad experience with the guy. I have stayed there a few times and never experienced this before. I referred my family members to this hotel to get treated like we did. His attitude is so unacceptable. That was 3 nights of hell. I have stayed a plenty of hotels and this is my 1st time i ever had to write a bad report. I think i deserve a gift card or something. But i want be coming back there. Empty, scary , off the beaten path, no ac on in the room until you turn it on. No elevator to second floor, no breakfast only coffee. Bugs are free! very sketchy! Only five guest in she hotel, we all had a parking lot party and ripped the hotel. go somewhere else!!

This motel looked like it had been updated and the room was clean. There was no breakfast item and half of the time, no one was at the front desk. It was weird that there were only three other cars in the parking lot for the whole time we were there. The biggest negative was the rude clerk at the front desk. We are Wyndham hotel platinum members and travel a lot. But this guy was the rudest one we have run across. When I asked where the ice machine was, he told me there were signs for it. Really? I get to go look for the sign. There were many other examples of things he said that were ridiculous. Apart from him and no breakfast, the stay was find. They do need to fix the door to the exterior at the end of the hall. Also, no coffee machines in the rooms but there was coffee in the lobby.

The room was hot when we arrived, toilet filthy, and the sink only sprayed one thin stream of water at extreme pressure that made it splash everywhere. The beds weren’t bad. No staff available when we checked out, had to leave key at front desk with note. Did not feel safe.

There was no A/C on in the lobby and all the doors were open. The desk clerk was very nice. when I got to the room the extra lock had been removed. It was a one night stay so I just said we could do that. Ice machine was not working and there was no breakfast. A really ran down property.

Just what we needed. Value at a good price

Unfriendly day manager did not have continental breakfast like advertised not even coffee !

Pros: Our checking in was superior! The woman who was at the front desk was kind, courteous and made the check in simple and efficient for the elderly I was traveling with. the rooms were clean (I checked for bugs) and appointed with the basic necessities. Cons: the floors of the first floor rooms though covered in carpet are uneven, if someone has mobility issues they present a slip, trip or fall hazard. Though widely advertised that there is a breakfast there is not. Summary: very basic clean establishment with no extra amenities.
