Quality Inn & Suites Charleston - Civic Center

A nice quaint place

We arrived around 11 p.m. This is a hotel in the downtown area. There was a cop car close to the hotel talking to a pulled over vehicle. The hotel entrance was not easy to find, kind of in the back parking lot. A homeless man was sleeping on the sidewalk nearby. It felt dangerous there. The breakfast was not bad, but they did not replenish the eggs. The place was clean on the inside but it was the outside that was a bit scary. Not a good área of town.

Clean. bed was comfortable. 3 day stay, bed not made up, fresh towels on 2nd day

The room is nice, bute we were a little concerned about the neighborhood. Apparently the management is too, as there are signs posted in the parking lot about not being responsible for damage to vehicles. They also have you initial a similar statement at check in.

The pictures wasn't the the same pictures. The facility, the pool was not good there. It was covered antorah up the TV did not work. Had to keep getting changed to different rooms because we didn't have cable. And by the time they actually got the TV to work, we were about to check out. Terrible experience for the price that they charge.

Great for an overnight stay during travels

This is a great place for anyone traveling on a budget. It was clean and the property was in pretty good shape. It's hard to beat this place when you're considering the low price, location, and quality. It's close to great food and drink spots. The front desk staff were all friendly. The bed was comfortable, too. I highly recommend this place.

The area is surrounded by homeless people. Roaming the parking lot & sitting outside of the hotel. Our first room, the air wouldn’t work & the bathroom wall was full of hair left behind from the people before. We got moved to a different room, it was cleaner but still not super clean. The beds were clean & we just needed somewhere to lay our heads. The staff was friendly. I would not recommend staying here with little kids like us. It was a veryyyy poor area. We got to see a man boxing the air first thing in the morning. It was great! Then we got to see a lady laying down on the sidewalk (looked dead). A man in the lobby was yelling cuss words & smelled like a skunk. All in all, I would not stay here again. If it wasn’t 11pm when we got there we would’ve found a different hotel.

The beds looked like they had already been laid in. The property was in extreme disrepair and nasty. The pool doesn't really exist

The ice machines didn’t work. The pool was out of order. It’s the peak of summer.
