Hotel Express

It was a very nice stay. Super convenient to JSU which was the purpose of the trip. Clean and pleasant service.

Due to the recent storm, Irma, we contacted this owner/manager to verify 1) if they truly had rooms STILL available because rooms were booking fast. With that said, as several of the other reviewers stated, HE WAS EXTREMELY NASTY! He yelled at me because I called in to verify availability. I chucked it up to maybe he was being overwhelmed with people contacting him. I did forget to check the reviews BEFORE contacting him. His hotel, seemed to have comfortable amenities and decent rates for my elderly mother. We are trying to stay calm in the midst of trying to book a room out of the storms path.(That in itself can be unnerving, especially if you are looking to get your family to safety.) I gave this rude man the benefit of the doubt and called back to 2) confirm his cancellation policy. He asked if I had just called and I verified that I did. Told him that I was only trying to confirm information for the safety of my family. Additionally, I had just signed up online for another hotel, (thinking it was booked), then received an email stated that it was cancelled because the service couldn't confirm with hotel. Before I knew it, without much conversation from me, he started ranting and raving, this EXTREMELY RUDE SPIRIT, HUNG UP ON ME !!! [I not only was excellent in doing customer service, but I am sympathetic to emergency atmospheres.] THIS was UNACCEPTABLE and WILL HURT the Wyndham Brand. (Maybe RUDE BEHAVIOR is allowed in his indigenous country, but that should not be TOLERATED here in the U.S.!!!) PEOPLE STAY AWAY!!!!! WYNDHAM GROUP, DUMP HIM !!!

Had made reservations closer to downtown for almost $150.00 Went on line shopping, found Knights Inn, they were much less expensive, for a one night stay for the Woodstock 5k Run, Saturday morning. Canceled the old and reserved the new. arrived on time, check in was quick , and only took a moment. Nice guy at the front. Located near eating places and only a few extra minutes to the run site.Got late check out but did not need it. Quick trip Saturday morning , no traffic. Returned in time for a quick light B'fast. And left, will plan to stay next year.

The owner/manager is a very nasty, rude, and disrespectful man especially to women. He is very difficult to understand and when you ask him to repeat himself he screams at you. I have ever met someone that treats customers so poorly. The rug was filthy, sheets were gross with stains, and NO mattress covers UGH!!! Had a good size roach in the room. The bathroom door locked by accident and we couldn't get in. I waited until morning to ask to have it unlocked and the owner screamed at me on the phone. The guy is a jerk!! I feel sorry for his wife who tried to be nice to cover up her husband's rude behavior. We will never go back. Have to find another place to stay in the area.

The lady who checked me in was extremely helpful and friendly. If I would have just left the key in my room instead of checking out this would be a totally different review, but the next morning when I came into the office to check out the man behind the counter was very very rude! I would have to say the nicest check in ever and by far the man at check out was the rudest person I have ever met. I travel through the area often, but would never stay here again. I was and still am very offended! We stay in a lot of motels and are Wyndham Platinum Rewards members.

The owner/manager is the rudest ,most disrespectful man I have ever met,they don't treat customers with any respect.Was cussed for asking for another sheet,he doesn't have any manners.Will never go back.

Very well organized hotel , The rooms are clean the service was excellent and location to Anniston is close and across the street from the old Fort McClellen . I would definitely stay here on my next trip and the area is quiet

Located a stones throw from some amenities, and close to a military installation, you would think that the motels and hotels would be a bit better, but were talking bottom of the barrel, and its not even the cheapest place I've ever been. VERY old and discolored linens, horrendous off white (used to be white) towels with stains in them, a toilet that literally wont flush, a TV that shows a taskbar and windows icons at the bottom of every channel, and an entire colony of ants crawling out of the sink and up the wall which the management was so gracious to spray pesticides all over the wall and sink for after we complained. They declined to switch us to another room, even though the ants appeared only immediately after their "cleaning crew" kicked me out of the room to stand in the sun for fifteen minutes so they could shove something down the sink. For this they took my credit card, which I presumed was to refund me for all this, but to my surprise, the management returned the old charge so he could charge more after realizing he didn't charge for my pet (whom the entire staff seem to be deathly afraid of) a tiny and friendly Pekingese... Non of the staff can speak coherent English enough to understand well, and the utilities make high pitched, squealing sounds throughout the night. Without any shadow of a doubt, this is the worst motel, by far, that I've ever stayed in. It gets one star for the simple fact that it just barely accomplishes its task of being a motel at all. Stayed here for four days, won't make that mistake again.

well, what can i say? its ok. the best part about it, the man who cleanes the rooms is a nice person. we ask for a couple more packs of coffee and he willing did so and with a very nice attitude. when we went to leave the next morning, he stoped to check on us and to see if we needed anything or if we were leaving out that morning. told him we were leaving out and GOD BLESS. he thanked us and said GOD BLESS yall to. the rooms them self, ok. better then the last place i stayed. the people that run the front desk, not that frriendly, no cooffee or juice and no breakfest setup. guess the younger guy that morning wasnt in the mood to getup and do it, so dont expect them to have it , even thou they say online that they do or if someone up front says they do in the mornings.

We hold an annual race and have stayed here every year, even before it was Anniston Inn & Suites. This year we were terribly disappointed. We reserved 23 rooms. The linens were not clean (sheets and towels). We didn't get the room types we reserved (even after 2 confirmation calls). The desk clerk was nice but management was RUDE and down right mean. Like past years we asked if they would open breakfast early (before 6am) because we leave by 6:10. They agreed and confirmed only to find out the next morning they only put out a few stale mini pastries @ 6am so our racers didn't get what was promised. No high speed internet here, they do have a pc in the lobby for people to use but the owner gets made if anyone uses it. A/C may not work in all rooms.
