Georgetown Lodge

The area, the layout, the staff, and the town were wonderful. The lodge may not be as polished as some resorts in the area, but the stay was fairly enjoyable none the less. I wish that the room had been cleaner, its the only gripe I had. The hot tub area smelled very strongly of mildew, and my bathroom had mildew/mold in the shower. The shower head was greatly clogged with mineral buildup. Nothing wrong with this hotel that a good scrubbing wouldn't fix. Id stay again because of the staff. Always polite and helpful. Outdoor area was very pleasant.

The staff was exceptionaly nice and informative. However the noise was dificult to bear. I was unable to sleep at all. It seeseemed to be coming from the air conditioner. I could hear peowith le talking in the next room until after midnight. The TV was very comlicated and several staff members tried to help me with it to no avail.

Great place to stay rooms just out dated and can hear everything from rooms on each side but other then that greta place to stay in the mtns in the lottle town of nothing

I believe I was deceived by the reviews and photos on Hotels.com for this property. My room was not nice and not very clean, and nothing worked with the technology offered. For a rate of $130/night, it was extremely outdated with a very cramped bathroom and low sink counter. I found hairs on the counter, the toilet wasn't clean and the soap bar used by the last guest in this room was still in the tub. This made me wonder if the sheets were even clean. I shouldn't have to worry about these things for $130/night. I also could not figure out how to watch live TV. I kept getting asked to login to whatever streaming service the smart TV had available, or to download an app. Well, the internet did not work well (or at all on my laptop). I realized that I should have complained to the front desk and asked for a different room or help with the tech issues, but I didn't feel like that would have solved anything. I am glad I only stayed one night and I will not be staying here again.

An amazing staff and amazing views of the mountains

I felt like it was a motor lodge at a campground. Folks hanging around the courtyard right outside our door smoking, drinking, dogs running around. A real hike to get ice, a somewhat spooky hot tub room. It was almost impossible to get ahold of the front desk when we were delayed. The room had pillowcases too small for the pillows, all the sheets were dingy yellow. Way too overpriced for value. No kleenex in room. Was glad we only stayed 1 night.

Front desk clerk was awesome but room smelled of cigarettes and being a woman by herself i didnt feel very safe.

We enjoyed the mountain cabin environment in Georgetown. We stayed in the motel which was good. If we were staying more than one night I think we would have stayed in one of their cabins.
