Shephard's Beach Resort

Attended a convention with VCOS, the staff and the accommodation were outstanding and have book fifty rooms for next year, great job Shephard's.

The grounds were clean as the rooms were The staff was friendly and helpful especially Regina, Erica and Toni all from the front desk. They had recommended places to go and see If we ran out of coffee in the room they would give you packets. Every day there was live music and or a dj. Food was great. Nice pool and hot tub. I’m not a beach person, they were nice as well. The locals and surrounding visitors at other hotels go to Shephards in the evening for the nightlife.

My husband and I went there for a long weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were warmly welcomed by Tony upon our arrival. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, the frozen drink selection, and great view from our balcony. We also were pleased with Erica at the front desk who offered restaurant suggestions and directions when asked. All of the staff from valet, to bar and pool personnel. were very friendly and provided great service!

I just want to give a shout out to Toni, who works at the reception desk. Always a smile on her face and ready to help. We were a large crowd, there for my son's wedding with family members on every floor. She was helpful to everyone. Thanks Toni. And your Italian restaurant recommendation was great.

I just love staying here. It was so nice when you first come in and have Regina welcome you. She works at the front desk and is one of the most kindest people in the service industry that I have met. As always, I will definitely be back.

Toni at the front desk checked us in with such a warm welcome and has been so friendly and helpful! She recommended booking for 2026 and we wanted to wait and see what we thought of the resort- well we are three days in and plan to book for next year!! The pool area is pristine and very large- the live music is so upbeat and fun. The gulf and pool view are beautiful! Sunsets over the water- what more could you ask for!

I had an incredible stay at Shephard's Beach Resort this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. The resort is beautiful — clean, relaxing, and full of great amenities. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had stunning views.

Great time with very good nightly live entertainment. The hotel was nice and good location to get to restaurants and entertainment throughout Clearwater Beach area. Pool and beach area are undersized for a peak season crowd. It worked for a November visit.

Such a fun resort! Hung out at the tiki bar during day and listened to live music. Ate at the Cove for dinner and the steak was amazing. Every night a new band played and they were all great! Toni was so helpful at the front desk with check out! Everyone was really kind. Great experience, would definitely stay here again.

Upon arriving at the resort, the valer parking was easy and efficient. It’s free to park you just tip your valet person and you are able to get your vehicle in and out of the parking garage at any time. Check-in was super easy and quick. We had an upper floor room on the backside because people said the front view was loud due to the music. However, I did not think the music was that loud (during the week)but they do play until midnight. The pool area is nice and clean. You also have a waitress walking around if you want to order drinks or food from the tiki bar. I did not feel the food was great, but I did like the nachos the best from the tiki bar. There are several areas that you can walk to to get food. The beach area was private and nice with plenty of space to lay your beach towel down or reserve a chair and an umbrella Pier 60 is about a 10 minute walk. The rooms are a little outdated. I would prefer a fan in the bathroom to take out the humidity from the shower and they also need more hooks for your wet towels. Unfortunately, this time of year in Florida was a little cool and our room was cold after coming in from the night. we could not get the thermostat to work. Not sure what we were doing wrong but we could not get the heat to come on. The best part of my trip was Regina at the front desk. She was super sweet, polite and professional. She gave us a discount on our second night stay. I would go back just because of her. The sunset is beautiful to watch from this resort..
