Bahia Principe Grand Tulum - All Inclusive

Just like every trip/resort there are pros and cons. Some of the pros were that it is family friendly, there are plenty of pools and food is available almost all day and night. Some of the cons were the rooms smelt dingy and were so humid that all our clothes were damp. Also even though food was available throughout the day/evening it was repetitive and booking the a la carts was nearly impossible. I think if we were able to experience those I would feel differently. The other con was the amount of things/activities that cost extra. The arcade in the main lobby was even extra. The resort is great for young children and adults but not much for teens. We were a group of 12 and had a great time!

Our room was clean and spacious. Enjoyed the only restaurant that we were able to book (Brazilian steak house). Cons: restaurant booking on the app was disappoint as everything was full and left with only one option. Lack of dinner options if your unable to book a reservation. Snacks bars were ok but food items were repetitive.

Unfortunately I will not return to this resort. Some staff members were awesome but some not so much , very limited dining and barely any restaurant reservations spots . Buffet food was not very good. Spa was not as nice this place needs some attention specially the spa jacuzzi

The stay was overall great. However, my wife did come down with a bad case of food poisoning. I bought some medicine from the on-site pharmacy and the desk called our room several hours later to see if we were ok and needed anything. Otherwise, the food was great, it was very family friendly (lots of kids), coatis and iguanas all over the grounds, and the hotel was beautiful and relatively peaceful.

I stayed at the Coba section of your resort last year and had a wonderful experience, both in terms of service and the overall environment. Based on that positive impression, I decided to return this year—this time choosing the Tulum section—and brought along friends and family. Unfortunately, I regret this decision, as the quality of service has declined significantly. During dinner, no staff approached us to offer drinks, and overall service was minimal. The dining area was extremely noisy and overcrowded, which made the experience unpleasant. Additionally, the quality of the food was very disappointing—I found it difficult to enjoy any of the meals and ended up leaving the resort on most days to dine elsewhere. I was also hoping to try the complimentary specialty restaurants; however, they were fully booked throughout our stay, and I was unable to make a reservation.

Bahia Principe is always my go to.

Great vibes, people were awesome! What i did like was all the seaweed on the beach and old amenities in the room. Not a dealbreaker.

We werent able to utilize most of the restaurants while we were there, which was unfortunate. There was a fire in another hotel and all the restaurants were booked solid. Got tired of the buffet food.
