The property offers a good place for relaxation. The team members are very nice, I would say they may benefit from being a bit more flexible at times. But, the severs at the buffet were awesome. I liked the rooms, the pool, the entertainment. I would recommend adding more food stations, like a pastry place, sometimes it felt that there was not enough choices if it was not lunch or dinner at the buffet. Great hotel overall.

I would never go back to this hotel. The place is old, room doors are broken, there are bugs in the rooms, beds are very uncomfortable and old same with room furniture. You can’t schedule a group reservation for Ala carte restaurant. Food is not good it has no flavor and it is always the same menu, desserts are bad. Not worth it to stay there.

I had an absolutely great time at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum. The staff were very helpful, the buffet always had a wide variety of options whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and there were numerous activities to do. The resort also has a few a la carte restaurants that you can make reservations for that are included in the price. I would recommend doing this as soon as possible because they book extremely fast. The pool was also very nice, well maintained, and had a swim up bar. My room was also very clean and the house keeping staff did a very good job of cleaning it daily, although two of my outlets didn't work which I did report to the front desk. A couple of minor critiques that I do have is that the bars could use a little more coverage so that people aren't waiting too long for a drink. Also, I think it would be nice if there were a night club on the resort like some of the other Bahia Principe locations for the young adult crowd. The nightly entrainment usually ends around 9:45-10 o'clock and it would be nice if there were something to do for folks who don't want to turn in so early. Overall, I definitely enjoyed my stay and would recommend this resort if you're looking to vacation in Tulum.
