Bahia Principe Grand Tulum - All Inclusive

I loved the nature and all the animals all over the hotel.

Always fun and relaxing.

The property is very nice, the activities for the kids are great. The only problem, and what was very frustrating for us, is the beach. Really very bad, and when you talk about vacations, of course it’s about the beach; we couldn’t swim, and this changed our opinion of the property. They should look for alternatives to clean a part so it can be enjoyed.

Awesome services and great place with kids. Entertainment team (Citlali) was awesome throughout the day. Wonderful experience all together. Their reserved ala carte is very tough to find reservation and needs advance planning. I was provided with wrong reservation code which did not allow me to check in on time and by the time all reservations were booked. We tried couple of their ala carte restaurants but they are all not authentic. Food quality especially at Portofino is not even edible (speaking as vegetarian) wasted my time / energy and cost of servicing our show at Tulum resort. I am wring my experience while I have my stay continued but I expected better food / service / quality of the rooms (even when I was provided upgrade). If you come in summer time, Sargasso is notorious and beaches are pretty much useless. Bed in rooms are very hard and by the sixth night i woke up in back pain. Overall location from Tulum airport and other things to do is convenient.

Very disappointed. This was our 3rd trip to Mexico, but the first where there was a clear language barrier. Transportation to the hotel was not clear although booked. They also tried to take us to the wrong hotel. There was Mold in the fold out bed. Our coffee machine did not work. You could not go swimming on the beach due to seaweed. I could not make reservations for Al la carte dinners ahead of time as the app says and then reservations were so limited we were eating at 9pm. There was a stomach bug or food poisoning happening as the pharmacy list for meds was long. There was no room service. I’ve never been to an all inclusive where there wasn’t room service and the whole hotel wasn’t all inclusive. Certain shows, drinks cost more money. We tried to rectify everything, but most of the staff did not speak English. The food at the buffet was mediocre. The best thing we ate all week was the Hindu food. We had a romantic dinner with lobster and it was so overcooked it was crunchy. Everywhere we went we were asked if it was a special occasion to which we said yes our 10 year anniversary. We saw banners on doors for Anniversaries, weddings, etc. ours had nothing. Which was the least of our concerns, considering. They hit you with a preservation tax upon arrival. So there were unexpected fees incurred. Our stay included 1 hour of an activity but, again, we could not find someone who spoke enough English to direct us, so that didn’t happen. Our room did have a great view!

Perfect Family Getaway! We had an amazing experience at this resort—perfect for families with young kids. The kids absolutely loved the pools, splash pads, and play areas, which quickly became the highlight of the trip for them. Everything we needed was conveniently nearby—food, snacks, drinks, and beach access were all right next to the kids’ area, which made our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. The staff was outstanding—always attentive and quick to respond to any requests. Highly recommend for a stress-free and fun family vacation

Only a very few employees are friendly! They also wants to sell you their membership kind of plushie.
