Best Western Plus Strongsville Cleveland

Avoid this place. The check in staff is inattentive and prefers to discuss other guest issues in front of guests waiting to check in rather than helping waiting customers. Very overpriced for value received, staff not trained well in customer service, rooms outdated… basically, there are other much better places to stay. The location was fine, but that’s about everything positive there is to say about this place.

This hotel is way, way past its prime. My room had a strong musty/moldy odor that I couldn't get rid of. The thermostat in the room did not work, meaning my room was either sweltering or cold. Two of the three nights I stayed here, the smoke alarms went off multiple times in the middle of the night. On the second floor, there is a lingering odor of stale cigarette smoke---most likely from staff smoking in a utility closet. Only one of three elevator banks works. When the hotel lost power due to a windstorm, there were no emergency lights. The swimming pool has been empty for what seems like several years. The room furnishings are worn. The only bright side is that the staff are friendly and helpful. I hope to never stay here again.
