Best Western Plus Strongsville Cleveland

We had 4 people in our room and only had 2 towels, 2 wash cloths, and 2 hand towels when we arrived at 6 pm Friday evening. I texted the customer service line at 6:41 pm and asked for more towels. When we got back from dinner at 8:15 pm, I asked the front desk for more towels. The male attendant said they were out of towels because they were overbooked and said he would have some brought up to us by 9 pm. The next day, upon arriving back at the hotel at 3:05 pm, I asked the same male attendant for towels. He again said they were out of towels because they were overbooked. I explained that my daughters were getting in the shower after playing in a volleyball tournament since 7 am that morning and we really needed them. He gave me one pool towel and a shower rug and said that was the best he could do at that time but he would have some brought up to us within 15 minutes. I text at 3:29 pm and again at 3:44 pm because they still hadn't brought us towels. My daughters had to use dirty wash cloths that my husband and I had already used and share a pool towel to dry off with. At 8:09 pm we got back from dinner and I again asked the SAME male attendant for towels. He again told me he didn't have any available. I told him that this was ridiculous and they shouldn't allow more people to book than they can accommodate with towels. He said that it wasn't his fault, they were overbooked and there was nothing he could do about it. I asked to speak with a manager and he said there wasn't one available but he would write my name down and have the manager contact me. I told him I wanted compensation since they weren't able to accommodate us with towels and washcloths or I wanted my money back so that I could go book a different hotel that could provide us with towels. He assured me that he would have a manager contact me. A manager never did contact me. The room was also not very clean and the AC barely worked. We were on the 5th floor and it was very hot in our room.

Super dirty.

Very friendly staff. Rooms definitely need updating. Can be difficult to enter the driveway to the hotel and to leave the hotel as there is no traffic light and it sits on a major highway.

The staff were very professional and friendly.

Was not told it was pet friendly? Breakfast was opened late every day. Should have got the top floor! Because the room above us was running around until after midnight.

We usually stay here for a Comic Con every year, this time we chose it.. (Even though it was 20 mins from where we were going) just because we new how good of a hotel this is. Always an excellent stay.
