We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront, and I have to give a massive shoutout to **Jaye** at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly hospitable, making sure our room was taken care of and that all of our needs were met without hesitation. The highlight of our interaction, though, was when Jaye took the extra time to show us the updated condos. We’ve been thinking about returning with the kiddos, and honestly, if it wasn't for him taking the initiative to show us those upgraded spaces, we probably wouldn't have considered coming back. He single-handedly saved a return customer for this property. **HINT HINT to IHG Corporate:** You have amazing staff like Jaye, but this property needs a major face-lift. The renovations are needed like 10 years ago, not tomorrow. Take care of your properties so great employees like Jaye have a facility that matches their level of service! Thanks again, Jaye—you’re the reason we’ll be booking those condos next time!

Convenient, Clean, Staff very friendly, restaurant we loved food it was very good with great service. We will definitely stay here again!

The only downfall was we could not enjoy our balcony due to others smoking pot and the smell was horrible. Our air conditioner even sucked the smell into our room. We did tell front desk but without knowing where it was coming from I’m sure there was nothing they could due even though it clearly states on the door no smoking. It’s sad some people have no respect for others.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and wanted to recognize the outstanding service provided by Martin, Yuri, and Samir. They were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly throughout my stay. Their willingness to assist with any questions or requests made a tremendous difference and truly enhanced my experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what stood out most was the exceptional customer service. Martin, Yuri, and Samir consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of and that I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great accommodations and outstanding hospitality. Thank you to the entire team, especially Martin, Yuri, and Samir, for making my stay such a positive and memorable one.

This resort is our favorite in the Daytona Beach area, we have stayed here 3+ times. We love that they have activities for the kids of all ages. You may check in early and enjoy the amenities even if your room is not ready. They even had activities on Memorial day. We met Laleesa, she was the sweetest and accommodating lady over the kid's activities. She was patient with our grandson and allowed him to call out the bingo numbers, that made him feel special. She was wonderful in assisting with the crafts during our stay. Our grandson was so excited he brought home so many crafts he had made during our 5 day stay. Laleesa's personalized touch made our stay memorable. We felt seen and remembered. The staff stayed busy keeping the resort pristine. One person I noticed on numerous occasions was Gary, he stayed busy keeping the area around the main entrances and elevator clean. What we did miss on this trip was the nightly firepits being lit. I assume it was due to the drought and high winds. I certainly hope they will be lit on our next stay so we may enjoy them in the evenings.

Love the proximity to the beach the room was clean. Beds were comfortable.

Didn’t like the parking my friend was backing out and hit one of the cement posts with her car because she was so close to it and dented her car
