How is this motel even available on Expedia to book?! It is a nightmare situation with bugs on the ceiling, in between the covers, and all over the floor. The smell was awful and you could not open the window unless you wanted an intruder or animal to jump in and sleep with you (no window screen ). We requested a non smoking room but got a smoking room with a cigarette butt near the bed when we first walked in. My sister and I arrived late after driving 900 miles all day and we started unpacking thinking we could make this motel stay work but it just kept getting worse. The worker gave us a key to a different room but it was just as bad just without the awful smell. I gave back all keys and asked for a refund and cried as I got back into my car to go sleep in a Walmart parking lot because at least my car was safe and bug free for the night. It was so late into the night that paying for another hotel for a few hours did not make sense. Everything was terrible and I have lots of photos. Please don't let anyone else stay at this motel

I was just passing through and needed a quick night's rest. Glad that it was just one night. Friendly enough staff, but I killed a few roaches and slept on a very firm bed. All in all, the water pressure made for a good shower. I got a few hours sleep and hit the road in the morning. These places are never fancy, but they serve the purpose for an economical stay when you are passing through town.

All the staff and everyone staying is great. Unfortunately, rooms are still outdated, some have amenities that others do not, so there’s no standard for rooms. The biggest complaint is the absolutely dreadful WiFi. Granted it is free, but through charter service is always good, yet somehow it is always down or rebooting to the point where it may as well not even exist. I know it’s somewhat minor, but there isn’t much to do while staying, the basic channel lineup stinks, so watching Netflix or similar becomes impossible with the shoddy WiFi.

Room 219 is infested with roaches. The room and bathroom was so dirty. The carpet looked like it hasn’t been swept in months. The roaches were crawling everywhere especially in the bathroom. The bathtub was so dirty.

Do not stay here it’s filthy. Evacuated for hurricane and original hotel booked overbooked, it’s midnight been driving all day only place we could find. Walked into room, door wasn’t locked it was beyond description, flipped on bathroom light dead bugs on the floor. Wouldn’t let my mother enter, went to front desk to get money back and that was easy, employees just don’t seem to care!!! Stay away, don’t even see how it’s open.

Very dirty. Old uncomfortable mattresses. This place needs remodeled very badly.

We paid through an app and were told we would have to pay $50 per pet after the paperwork was done. This is more than double the listed pet fee of $20 on the website. After arguing and proving our point, we paid the $40 for our two pets. We get to the room, and it literally stinks. Like marijuana and patchouli. It’s just bad. The doors are so thin, I can hear the footsteps of the people outside. And why is literally everything metal on here? It’s painted to look like wood, but it’s all metal....very strange. Also another hotel, IN THE SOUTH where the air conditioning is turned off all the time. It takes forever to cool a room from 100 degrees to “moderately comfortable”. I’m not sure you people understand that in the south, it’s freaking hot. And at the end of a day of changing three flat tires, driving 11 hours, and just wanting to go to bed, we only want to go to bed. Not go inside, turn everything on, leave for an hour so we don’t die of heat stroke in the room, and THEN go to bed. Everything is covered in paint splatters, it’s just dirty, smelly, and too dang expensive for this crap.

Our Room Sucked! We Had Roach Bugs in our Room, all on the Floor, we told the staff

Alright for the price but found 2 roach like bugs in the room and no coffee maker.
