Fantastic hotel with great facilities. I stayed with with children aged 11 and 14 and they loved it. The location is very good and easy to get around to shops and restaurants. The kids loved both the indoor and outdoor pool and there is a jacuzzi and roof top pool for older ones. The view from our room was stunning! It had two balconies! I would recommend and would definitely come back.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful with a choice of hot and cold menus. Three different pools allowed for a different experience in each and catered towards peoples needs. The room had a very nice view of the sea and was kept clean and tidy by the cleaning staff. Wi-Fi was present throughout the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location with good pools. The building is dated and the fittings like carpet are old and smelly. The aircon is noisy and ineffective, definitely not the 5 star standard it boasts. The staff I saw were helpful and friendly.

Had a wonderful joint birthday celebration there with a friend. 2nd visit and will be back again. Great staff, stunning building, all the facilities, pools, gym, spa and views are stunning. Special mention to Pedro on reception who made our stay so special and no request was too much. Its great to be travelling again and Funchal has so much to offer just need more time not enough to fit it all in. Can't wait to be back again soon.

We had a great time hotel beautiful only wish the pool was heated as it was so nice and inviting but very cold we did brave it and go in but would have spent a longer time if it was heated
