Knights Inn Sterling Heights

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels but this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The room was absolutely disgusting. Bugs were everywhere. Tiles were coming up. The tv barely worked. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone. There are better places at a similar price point.

Walked into first room quickly spotted 3 cockroaches. Was given a different room.... The door would not open. Security came to help and had to radio over that indeed the door was glitching flashing different colours. Back and forth to fix key only to be told to go try a different room. Third room no visible bugs but off putting nonetheless.

I don’t know what I was expecting. I knew it was a cheap motel and I got what I paid for. Walls are thin, there was a stained white sheet draped over the couch when I got there, and there was the green goop on the floor in the bathroom. There were holes in the tube that were crudely covered up. I needed something quick for a night because of a concert. But the staff was nice so thats cool.

The staff may be the only decent thing about our stay, as they were actually very helpful, even though they could not find our reservation at first. The room itself was in horrible condition. There were ROACHES and other unknown bugs crawling around in the bathroom. There was a huge one in the shower, so we obviously refused to take a shower. At one point during the night, one crawled up on the bed. The only reason we still stayed here was because we didn’t want to waste money and it was past the 15 minutes they give you to switch rooms once we noticed. The toilet bowl was even all scratched up. I will never stay here again unless huge changes have been made, including extermination of the roaches and renovating the bathrooms. The property owner should be ashamed of themselves.

The place is really dirty their were mold everywhere bugs the rooms smell they need to call the health department to close down they are horrible

I was ‘upgraded’ to a kitchenette room and the kitchenette area was disgusting. Not cleaned, rusted, and extremely old. The bed and pillows were lumpy, the toilet ran, the bathroom light flickered and did not always turn on when the switch was flipped. There was literal cardboard nailed to the wall under the sink, spiderwebs in the shower, the garbage hadn’t been emptied from the last stay, the lamps in the room didn’t work, and the air conditioner didn’t work properly. I booked a premium king sized bed and the ‘upgrade’ got me a smaller bed. I wanted to be able to take a bath and relax but I didn’t feel comfortable taking a bath with how disgusting the room was. I read other reviews and thought ‘it can’t be that bad’…it was. Pay the extra $20 or whatever and stay somewhere else, I know I will next time.

The first room wasn’t cleaned I had to go back and get another one and then the customer service was horrible

This is the worst hotel to stay at very unclean. All the people that work there are not on the same page. And don’t go if you don’t have an ID they won’t let you stay and no refund. Freddy the manger is horrible he never returns your call.

I was turned down because my gurl friend did not have her I.d the room was in my name but because she was in the lobby with me he would Not rent me the room all guest must show i.d who are over 18 weather u staying or 🚫

The bed was great. The room was filthy, no garbage cans, a king room with 2 small pillows, blankets for a full size bed, dust all over, mold above the shower, fridge did not work, my food spoiled, drinks got warm, no ice available, clerk had to know all your business of why staying, came around knocking on doors at 10 am saying get out time is 11 in one hour.
