Americas Best Value Inn Monroeville

My family and I stayed here on the way to the beach and enjoyed our stay. We were greeted well at check in and the rooms were very clean. We also had breakfast before heading out in the morning and loved it! Definitely will stay here again!

Dirty furniture, holes in the blanket, pillowcases to small for pillows one wash cloth for two people, unusual,offending room smell, other than these things it could have been worse,but it was the only thing available on a busy weekend in Monroeville and you can't expect much for 65 dollars.

This is a very old and worn out motel. The owners are trying but there just isn't much to work with. The bedspreads were stained, the sheets had holes worn in them and the towels are beyond their Best Before date. There is a transport truck parking right outside the front door and there is nothing attractive about the area. I think people are actually living in the motel rooms. It is best to avoid this place.

The rooms smelled horrible, they are very small, there were tiny holes in the sheets and a small stain at the bottom of sheet....We were unable to deadbolt the door, the bathroom door wouldn't lock and the worst part was there were two spiders in the tub and three waterbugs.......It was so gross.....

Stayed there on 11/24/12. Well worth the money. VERY clean! Cheaper than Quality Inn in Atmore. Only$50 a night. Right next door to an all night store.I have NO complaints at all. Front desk was very nice and friendly.

My family stayed one night on our way to Florida for a holiday. We found the room clean, and the staff helpful in finding a dinner spot. The hotel was in convenient proximity to highways, so a nice place to stay while passing through.

As someone who is on the road for 200+ nights a year, the quality of my lodging is the one thing that makes being away from home bearable - and over the last several years, I have certainly seen the best and the worst there is to offer. This hotel is definitely worth the price. The staff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. Non-smoking room was clean and didn't smell like smoke, like so many other motels seem to. Breakfast wasn't anything like a waffle house or an Ihop, but for the low price, it's definitely worth it. Would stay here again!

My husband and I were visiting family in Frisco City Alabama. We had reservations for a room that was non smoking and a king size bed. Check in time is 11 am and check out time is 11 am. We arrived at 5pm. I enter the office and had to waited a few minutes before any one came to check me in. We got a room upstairs and I asked if the could give me one downstairs. He told me only available was a smoking room. This is first time I ever had to have a upstairs room, and with a back back and pinched nerves it is hard to climb. Anyway, we received our room key and a remote for the tv. I opened the door and the room was still not ready. Went to the office and they got the room service in their. I tell you she got the bed made and she told us the room had already been cleaned. We had no choice but to stay. The toilet was almost overflowing every time we flushed. The price was expensive for what we got. I will never stay at that hotel again.

The place is dirty and stinky. My room smelled like nail polish remover and it gave me a headache. The lobby smells like Indian food. I did not feel safe as people were hanging around outside and there were beer bottles on the walkway to the office. There was a fly in my room. The hotel doors open to the parking lot and there is a truck stop kind of area right in front of the hotel. So it's noisy. The only reason I stayed here is that I had to be in town for two nights for my job and all the other hotels were booked. After the first night, I packed up my things and locked them in the trunk of my car while I worked for fear of being robbed during the day while I was gone. I considered driving the two hours home and back after the first night, rather than staying another night.
