Kelly Inn and Suites Mitchell

Alarm went off at midnight. TV was not what I could use. Lady wouldn’t check us in at 10 to 3:00. Every thing else was fine. A little expensive.

Nice rooms

Rustic and comfortable.

Pool hours are limited, would have chosen another hotel where pool was open later as we arrived later.

It is a beautiful place

The location is good, the room was clean and comfortable.

Could not get the TV to work, called the desk for some help but they were unable to get it working either. The bathroom could use some updating and windows had torn screens with broken hardware.

The location is convenient to the event I was attending. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast, but good enough. They have a swimming pool and a hot tub.

We walked in and the front desk staff seemed a bit discombobulated. The printer wasn't working, we had to fill out our own check-in documents (not a big deal). The Front desk staff had to go check EACH room for guests who were checking in to make sure they were clean and ready for check-in. Unfortunately, it didn't matter, because our room wasn't overly clean. The bathroom had grime around the tub and floor, there was a crack in the wall of the shower, the tiles are coming away from the wall, the top of the fridge was just dirty, there was a small amount of crumbs on the carpet next to the fridge and there was another person's / dog's hair on the blanket on the spare bed. The whole hotel smelled like a mixture of wet dog and chlorine. Thankfully, the windows opened. They tell you they take a credit card for incidentals (mostly in case we damage anything), but our room had damage when we arrived. We didn't say anything at the time, because I'm not sure any other room would have been different. I've stayed in other Kelly Inns in other locations. This was a step down in quality.

The location was great.

The front desk had computer issues about room availability so someone was sent to check on empty rooms. My room had been cleaned but there was a used towel in the bathroom.
