Wilderness Beach Hotel

Location is nice and central

The air conditioner was broken and the room was very stuffy. We only stayed one night and managed to find alternative accommodation.

1. I liked the food, the restaurant is clean , nice furniture, very comfortable. The restaurant manager was great, good customer service but the front desk stuff not friendly at all they are just there to work. The waitresses are top notch very friendly and always willing to help serve with a smile. 2. The pool was clean and easily accessible and the braai area. 3. The fact that one can walk down to the beach was a great bonus, ohh the morning views of the ocean from just stepping out of my room was a cherry on top.

1. The place is infested with cockroaches, in the room I spotted several crawling enemies😀 everyday during my stay, got worse after cleaning it's like they liked the smell of fresh air they came out in numbers. Then on the passage way there were big ass flying cockroaches scarry ones. Spotted two during my stay. 2. The receptionist (both of them)were not welcoming not friendly at all, does not great, just get to business as usual handing you a paper to sign, no customer care at all or manners even. I picked up they give white people best treatment compared to blacks. Funny part they are coloureds not even white. 3. The air conditioner does not work a guy had to come in once a day to change ice inside the old fashioned conditioner , when that ice melted there was water oozing from the bottom of the air conditioner which made the room very messy. 4. The beds were not comfy at all. Felt like old sinking beds. Booked a double room so I tried both of them it was the same. Linen on the other bed was teared off by the edges.

The staff was very friendly and always keen to help you.

The building needs a lot of maintenance. They have very nice facilities like a tennis court and a volleyball place but it is run down so you can’t actually use it. Money definitely needs to be invested doing some general maintenance.

Very old rooms , mostly Rooms smell very bad , Aircon doesn’t work , Very old broken furniture , Very cheap quality Beds ,

Air cons did not work. Bedding torn and very old. Breakfast worst ever. Very old hotel i do not recommend it all, photos on the platform does not match the property.
