Inn At Avila Beach

The staff is very friendly and the hotel provides an abundance of beach items for the stay.

I saw a lot of dust in high places of my room. Mold in the jacuzzi and paint chipping in the shower.

Cozy and amazing location with spectacular view of the ocean. They even had bikes available to ride on the boardwalk

Shower pressure could be better but not a problem

Loved the location, rooftop views, and the extra amenities.

The shower head was subpar and caused water to flood parts of the bathroom floor.

The lighting in the room could have been brighter. It was a bit dark in the entry room where we had our luggage.

I liked that this property was right on the beach.

We stayed two nights. Housekeeping did not come in to give fresh towels or do anything. When I inquired at the front desk they were very dismissive at first, and then the manager came up to bring towels, and I showed him while he was there the stain on the bedspread. He then changed the bedspread. I told him that they should never put a bedspread on a bed that has a stain on it. Again, he was trying to be nice, but he was very dismissive. We paid $550 a night for an ocean view and this hotel is very old and rundown. They need to put some money into this place if they’re going to ask for these kinds of rates. We ran into another couple who was from Las Vegas, and they were complaining about the hotel and it just felt old and not clean. Like a lot of places it looks better online than it actually is in person. I will say that it was a nice touch that they had light breakfast with coffees and tea on the rooftop. Nothing fancy—a little greasy, but it was probably the best part of the stay besides the ocean view. The room did not feel clean and that is probably the most important thing to me.

Location

Nothing , I used the wrong debit card to pay, I tried to use a different card the next day to Clear things up to just one card as I was on a road trip and nobody ever responded back. I left my number and email just to see if they can help me out, they didn’t respond. I Cut my trip a day short and pretty much it was an easy thing to do but they failed to help. I’m at fault for the mistake but they could have helped me if they wanted to. Won’t be back. Over all a cool place though.
