Clean nice room

We have stayed before and we have been very happy with the rooms we have had. My wife isn’t very well and spends a lot of time in bed that why we booked a deluxe bedroom . The windows were so small and the only view we had was the rooftop with a chimney on. The roof window in the bedroom when left open you could hear the pelican crossing beeping every few minutes.

The room was large with plenty off room to move about, shower and bathroom was clean and great to use again roomy, location was ideal as shops and bars / restaurants are just outside the attached pub (the pickled sprout), we didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it will be ace. You can park just outside the hotel if you get there at the right time (we got there about 11.30am ish) its also £15 over night really good value.

minor gripe check in was 4.00pm I think a little late, there was an option for early check in but we just had another pint, ace!

Great location and great value

Small but comfortable and clean room. Excellent breakfast

I have poor mobility so the stairs were a challenge to get in the front door. In all fairness I didn’t ask about an alternative entrance, maybe there was one. Again our room was a long walk away (for me) but I didn’t ask for an alternative as it was just for one night.

The staff were helpful and it's in a good location to access Harrogate

It was unbearably hot in the room, it was not a warm day outside (13 degrees), with the temperature dropping to 10c overnight. However, in the room it was consistently 27c, even with 2 fans and the window open (which only opened approx. 10cm). We stayed for one night, otherwise we would've expected to change rooms.
