AmericInn by Wyndham Hotel and Suites Long Lake

Breakfast was comparable to a Hampton inn with Hilton. The staff was very attentive. We had an issue with our TV at midnight and the young man wasted no time coming up to remedy the situation for us.

Small hotel but close to lake Minnetonka and downtown

No one at check in desk. Slow to check in. Got to room and air wasn’t on

AC quite working, toilet ran all the time. No one was ever at the front desk.

Bathroom fan didn't work. Door handles needed repair. Was just an ok place for a lot of money/night.

Pleasant but check-in was slow. Room windows were completely fogged, but then, they only blocked a view of a back alley of a storage facility.

Absolutely terrible experience- if I could give zero stars, I would! The hotel smelled very strongly of cleaning agents which resulted in me getting a terrible headache after 30 minutes of being there. We traveled with a group for a sports event. One of the rooms had a clogged toilet- how could they have cleaned the room and not notice?! Comforters were also dirty, as were the remaining bathrooms (sinks and toilets. Breakfast is minimal and bad - only toast, bagel with only cream cheese and powder eggs as option. The hot tub is permanently closed and wrapped in caution tape. They charge an extra $10 per person per use for pool use! We had to leave after 1 night (we had booked 2) because of the unbearable smell. Staff were very unfriendly and unaccommodating when I tried to explain the situation. Would never return- stay away!!!

This property is very average. Clean rooms and hallways. Breakfast is very ordinary. Bagels, packaged cinnamon rolls, brown bread and white bread, scrambled eggs probably made from powder, sausage patties with no taste, and do it yourself waffles, which nobody used. Coffee, hot water for tea and orange juice are available. Very blah. There was no other hotel nearby so if it’s the only choice, it’s probably fine for sleeping and showering.
