Clean comfortable rooms hotel has a lot of charm

Location was kind of a challenge with the parking lot in the back and one way in the Plaza but overall no complaints

We love the historic aspect of the hotel, and the location on Taos Plaza is great. We were able to walk everywhere, including Kit Carson Park for a concert. The art inside the hotel, mostly R.C. Gorman is wonderful.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The photos were genius compared to the cramped room. Even the placement of the furniture worked against functionality let alone comfort. Most disturbing was the step up into the bathroom. we left the light on all night lest we miss it and wind up face down on the tile. At least highlight it so it is visible. Also the toilet seat was broken. The mattress was like cardboard. A sad place relying on history...
