Super 8 by Wyndham Ketchikan

The location is alright. Next to the mall and on the water.

The first lady was totally cool and amazing, when I left in the morning the guy on the telephone was rude when I requested a late check out, he gave me 15 minutes... Id accidentally slept in because I had a long week of packing and finally got to get some rest. And then when I was trying to stay there the next day with a new reservation, as I was previously undecided if I wanted to stay there again, they said I could not stay there... They didn't cancel my reservation or anything until I was already there talking to the lady... She looked at me then said no, I can't rent to you... I've never even seen her before. I ended up having to sleep in my car, it was cold and I had a complete anxiety attack because I have been going thru a lot and that blind sided me. No one had said anything to me previously when I was checking out or anything. I'm not sure if they mixed me up with another room or what but it's embarrassing and rude. Honestly i shouldn't have tried staying there after the last time when I found the breakfast room crawling with roaches. It was so gross I didn't even try to go to breakfast the time I stayed here this time. There were so many and it was so gross but I figured posting publicly about that in our small town wasn't a nice idea so I told a staff member who just shrugged it off. I gave super 8 another chance because someone told me they cleaned up a bit and threw away the blankets with cigarette burns and such. But I'm disappointed I gave them another chance. To expensive for the worst hotel in ketchikan. Such a shame.

breakfast was great, good variety of foods and drinks

Too many questionable individuals hanging outside of main entrance door, blocking entrance.

Didn’t go and couldn’t find it.

Dirty, broken facilities. Drug addicts sleeping on the couch in the lobby every time we went through.

We did not stay. We have requested a refund.

The hotel smelled of old smoke and wet dogs. The smoke alarm in the room was hanging off the ceiling and not working. The temperature in the room was 90 degrees with a heater that had been beaten with a blunt object of some kind. The window did not lock and did not have a screen. It also did not close all the way. We immediately turned around and left.
