It was nice and quiet. Staff was great!

How the hotel was made it was like a maze just to get around the building, my shower had mold in it, the televisions were outdated. The pull out couch was very frail.

The hotel needs to be updated. Workout room equipment didn't work.

We went because we stayed there before in this area and the first time was awesome. Its a roomy comfortable room. This time was more "awww" sad face and "some" things were missing. The showers should be given more attention. Slow draining and the glass doors along with many handles were not clean. Understand unforeseen occurrences exist, if you need the pool, check before you go. It was down the days we stayed. The queen bed we had was more princess than a queen. I know the difference in sizes. I really wish I had a tape measure to prove it. No bedbugs! We had a gnat issue but I believe the whole buiding had to deal with that. The staff was friendly no issues at all there. It's also in a quiet area. Im not a gambler but in some instances in playing the lottery I understand you can still win if you match a few of the numbers on your ticket. The same can be said with our stay here. Its a gamble, may not win everything but you'll get something out of it.

The hotel stunk, the rooms were dingy, the pool did not work

The stay was great, the property was clean, however the pool was out of order and I feel That should have been disclosed at the time of booking. I would have chose another hotel.

Where to start....room was filthy. Could not have been cleaned (properly) in weeks- hair all over the place in bathroom, bed, living area. The floors were particularly dirty, especially around the vanity. I didn't even consider using the shower based on it's condition. It was obvious, though that the shampoo dispenser was empty. The HVAC system sounded like a freight train- impossible to sleep through so had to be turned off. The ceiling-height HVAC access panel in the BR was partially open at the bottom, who knows what was growing in there. The fridge didn't work- it was turned off on arrival...turned it on and several hours later all that happened was the awful smell remained- no refrigeration. Perhaps that's why there was a beverage fridge on top of the desk- that was a fire waiting to happen with how hot it was to the touch, so I turned that off. I don't know what the smell in the hallways was, maybe some sort of commercial deodorizer....recommend just letting the natural smells happen. Whatever was used is disgusting. I am in a proper Homewood Suites typing this review. The contrast could not be more stark. This Solon location is good, but this hotel really isn't a hotel it's a motel.

I booked a king suite online weeks before our stay.When we arrived we was disappointed because apparently the front desk overbooked for the king suites.My husband and I received a queen suite.Very disappointed.I guess we paid for the disappointment do to arriving later in the day.Janet

Smoke alarm went off twice in one night. Told us it was from a guest leaving the shower on too long and steam triggered the smoke alarm. No fire department response. No discount offered on at least some of our 2 night stay
