Comfortable rooms with great on-site dining. I took advantage of the quick access to the trails around the lake. Beautiful!

It was a very big car park just for us !

The property was closed down when we got there , despite only booking 2 days previously . We had to go to another hotel .

"HORRIBLE-DON'T BOOK"

1.0

Nothing

Under no circumstances would I recommend staying at this property. Due to the extremely poor condition of this property (bugs, dirty, etc.) I moved my family to another hotel immediately. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. I am now out the money I paid for this, but my family's health is more important. Hopefully, Booking.com will do the right thing and help me. We'll see.

"Goodbye Old Inn"

5.0

We love this old historical inn. It's dated, but the rooms are huge for our family of four and each kid gets their own bed, plus it's not only dog friendly, being on the 1st floor (twice), we could easily walk our dog. Last year we we're able to use the pool, disappointed that it wasn't open during our stay this year. Clearly, it's been let go, but I know it has so much potential. A family friend stayed there for a conference in the 70's and told me how beautiful it was. I hope it can be restored to its former glory.

Sad that it's closed indefinitely. Clearly, it's been let go. I hope it won't be torn down or abandoned like the museum.

"One day was plenty, glad we got to see the natural beauty of the park and see some fireworks for the holiday. But prepar"

6.0

It was the perfect location for staying at 4th of July week with all the festivities in the evening. Parking was adequate even with huge crowds in the park.

Waited 40min for the front desk to get to me- with only 1 person ahead of me that was already being helped when I arrived. No urgency! Finally got a room after a while after, but due to the slow check in we couldn’t go to our room before the fireworks - when we went to our room, there was luggage for other people already in the room! Luckily no one was in the room. Had to again wait for a long while at the front desk to be helped with this issue! This time another person was working as well- she moved us to the Resort hotel for the night. When we got there, they had no information about us coming, but worked it out thankfully! Definitely was a more professional group that evening at the resort! Next day was able to store our cooler in luggage room, but when we went to pick it up, the same very slow front desk from the Inn were at the resort with a line 10 deep to check in (not exaggerating!) finally got help from a worker who was going into the luggage room for his lunch because they didn’t actually call anyone to help me (to unlock the door). All this to say- your experience may vary from competent and professional to slow and frustrating! The Resort rooms were very nice and so were the grounds, but much farther from the activities in the park.

"So disappointed. I've stayed here in the past and it's sad how far this has fallen."

3.0

Location. Being right in front of the mountain and able to view the fireworks was nice.

Pool closed. Restaurants closed. Entire parts of the building blocked off. Over grown weeds and bushes. Lots of disrepair. Not sure why it's even open let alone charging full price.

"They need to do better, if they expect people to come back."

3.0

The Inn at Stone Mountain was not open. We were relocated to their nearby Evergreen location. This new hotel was NOT within walking distance of the park and fireworks. They didn't notify me about the change until the day before our visit.

The restaurants and bars was not open. The hotel was understaffed. You know something is very wrong when the Starbucks isn't open.
