Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive

Over the 7 days we experienced friendly staff, good food and lots of activities. Everyone always greeted us and answered any questions we had. We would definitely recommend Grand Park Royal to friends. House keeping staff was well spoken and we always came back to a spotless room, thanks to our favorite staff named America 💜

La habitación tenía un olor desagradable a humedad. La comida no estaba tan buena, la vista desde el tercer piso es regular así que es mejor que pida un piso lo más alto posible; el hotel necesita una remodelación o por lo menos mantenimiento, sobretodo en el bar y la alberca. Sinceramente no cumplió con mis expectativas porque ya lo había visitado hace dos años y está descuidado.

So loud. If you're looking for relaxation I'd look elsewhere. They have daily pool activities with loud music and a host blowing a gym class whistle. At nights they play music until very late. It is on a beautiful beach, but the tranquility of laying on a tropical beach is destroyed daily. Not relaxing

My husband and I had an excellent experience here at the grand I’m not sure why some people have such negative comments but that was not our experience. Our room on the 4th floor was big and the beds were comfy. Housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily and did a wonderful job. I love that our hotel “bracelet” was our room key. That was so nice! The food was great, we always went to El Pescador for breakfast, just request an omelette and a side of bacon if that’s your preference instead of the buffet. The seafood options for lunch were amazing from the menu and the ceviche was so good at their buffet table. For supper we visited bothe Mexican and the Italian. They both had great food but we especially liked the salad bar at the Italian. My husband has to eat gluten free and they had lots of options for him on the menu. The pools were busy as were the lounge chairs but there was staff monitoring whether the chairs were being used. After an hour or so if you were a no show, they would put your chair items in a bag at lost and found and the loungers became available for others. We never used the exclusive club , didn’t want to pay the extra 800 pesos per day. Drinks were great and plentiful. Try a mezcal margarita at the lobby bar!! I would recommend this resort to my friends.

All this days was very fun and the service was excellent. Different activities every day! Smith is a wonderful person and excellent in his activities 🙏😘

The place is okay. I thought some of the public areas were dirty/rundown. The room, itself, was okay - I wished it would have been cleaner and less run down.

Had a wonderful time at the Grand Park Royal Hotel in Puerta Vallarta. It was my first time there. Everyone was helpful , friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed all the entertainment and fun times.

I stayed here at the Grand Park Royal for 7 days. 2 adults & 2 children. I wouldn’t say this is a 5 star resort. -Location: it was along the beautiful mountains on the beach. The waves were a bit rough at times. It was a bit far from town which I wanted. Taxis & Uber pricing varied alot with getting around. Sun takes time to come to the front of hotel but I liked it. -Pools: 2 of 3 pools were ok. 2 big ones, 1 has a swim up bar, and the other was heated. The swim up bar pool was very cold. I barely seen people in it. It felt like a waste. The heated pool was nice. They did volleyball at times with which was a lot of fun. The kid pool was cold but my kids didn’t mind. All pools could use some touch ups. -Food: I thought the buffet and seafood restaurant were good for adults. Biggest con was lack of options for kids everywhere other than the pool snacks which was only open specific hours. They have an Italian & Mexican restaurant for supper. We only went to the Mexican one once as food wasn’t very good and nothing for kids. We weren’t allowed to the Italian one as we had kids, highly disappointing. The server was rude about it. -Drinks: weren’t the greatest. The plastic cups aren’t properly washed after each use. -Room: was in 301 at end of hotel, obstructed view but you could see some of ocean. Bed was very hard, it actually caused back pain. We tried to upgrade 3 to 4 times. Kept telling us just to check back but never did it. AC was loud but worked good. Room had a bad smell. I thought we’d be closer to the events so we could have a view at night when the kids slept. -Chair: we could never get a chair on the beach. Very hard to find them by the pool too. People reserve them even though they aren’t allowed. -Staff: most were very friendly! They work long hours every day. -Kids club: weird smell masked with bad cleaner. Different colour band may have helped -Would return to Mexico but not to this resort.
