The room was substandard. The room we had last week, for the same price, was excellent. This week the room was really ordinary.

We arrived late and were out most of the day so we didn't use the pool or the restaurants. We liked the beach access and location of the Hop on hop off bus. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I didn't like the room. The room looked unfinished as far as furnishings go. The only lighting was bright and needed to be on or off - no bed time lights next to the bed. A rug under the bed would of been nice. There was no chairs or sitting area which I thought there would of been in a Deluxe King room. Looked nothing like the photos. The shower drain was blocked and ran into bathroom. We noticed this when we arrived and mentioned it the next day and it was fixed promptly.

My three-night stay in a Lagoon Room started off well, thanks to Debbie at reception, who was very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are expensive, but the view is excellent. However, for the price, you would expect cushions to be provided on the outdoor seating. After requesting some, staff eventually brought a mismatched set of stained cushions (see photo). Housekeeping staff were also slow to respond to requests, and I had to make reminder calls on a couple of occasions. The food at the Vue restaurant was disappointing, while the food at Dragon Court was very good. One key theme echoed throughout the entire stay — the resort is overpriced, with poor, lacklustre service in what is otherwise a fantastic location.
