Terraza Del Pacifico Hotel

The resort didn’t look much like the photos. Under construction with no mention of this online. Looked like they started the construction and gave up, no one actively working on it while there. You couldn’t swim at the beach which also was not mentioned online. Online it said there was laundry service, this was not on site which we had planned on using, upon our arrival we were told it was in another town and very expensive. The swim up pool bar was only open the last day of our stay. Most staff were great, friendly, however some of the folks working the snack bar by the second pool were not very interactive. The beds were not comfortable at all. Hotel is also located very close to the highway and our room could hear the traffic especially the tractor trailer trucks riding their breaks downhill all hours of the night. The breakfast and sunset views at the beach were amazing. Overall it was okay but I wouldn’t book again.

I loved the children pool, it is big and the water temperatura was very confortable.

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the beach, food and service. Construction around the swim up bar/ pool caused closure , no use so we used the upper pool.

Great stay, maybe a little over priced for a 3 star, but food at restaurant great quality. (Natural drinks not worth the price. ) Beach is not conducive for safe swimming but makes for awesome wave - watching or for going on nice walks.

The Location was perfect, service at the restaurant, housekeeping even parking was great. The only problem was the slow check in process. There was only one person at the front desk helping even though we could see other staff. I first came here 17yrs ago and it's still a good deal. They've added another building and a new pool but, there are a few closed sections that are eye sores.

Extremely gracious staff and a beautiful location. The outdoor restaurant serves really good food including a nice complimentary breakfast. Fresh fish and killer ceviche on the menu for lunch and dinner. The outdoor dining room is huge and the view is fantastic - right on the beach. In fact, a few small waves top the low wall at high tides. No swimming in the ocean (dangerous conditions) but the pool and swim-up bar were fab. We stayed at Terraza Del Pacifico on our way down to Osa and liked it so much we reserved a room for 2 nights on our way back to San Jose.

Great property, but it was under major reconstruction. More workers than guests

Terrible conditions in rooms…front desk members are not oriented to customers nor responding to room requests. Outdated facilities and restaurant is much over priced than the area places. Strongly suggest to pay some extra dollars and get other hotel. I thought I was something like “Club De Mar” but its far far away even from that standard.

Staff is rude, condescending, demanded full payment firvtwo nights plus services UPFRONT. didnt allow any eoom charge.... never coming back !

I loved the attention from the staff. It really made a difference when ordering drinks at the pool or having lunch and dinner. Very friendly, I didn't like the rooms. They felt and smelled old, front door lock did not feel secure. Beds felt its age and did not feel comfortable. I would probably not return to this hotel due to the aged rooms and beds.
