Flamingo Hotel

What a hidden gem near the Centro area! The property is beautifully maintained and the rooms are spacious and clean. We certainly enjoyed our short stay and will be back on our next visit to the island!

This is the third time we've stayed at Flamingo in the last 12-18 months. The rooms are beautiful. The location is spectacular and the staff is amazing! We love that they remember us and we always feel like family.

This is a cute property, very close to the water and walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. The rooms were updated and comfortable. The staff are so wonderful, especially Oscar! I appreciated the manager working with us when there was an issue with the booking - he made it right. They have a nice breakfast available each morning. Some things to note: this is not an accessible hotel. There are a lot of steps and no elevators. The pool is on the 4th floor, and it is more of a wading pool than an actual pool. The wireless isn't very good inside the rooms, and there is no television (even rooms with TVs do not get any signals). They do not offer free bottled water and there is also no water fountain or station, so you will need to bring filtering devices or be prepared to purchase bottled water. With all that being said, we would absolutely stay here again.

We love this property! Everything.The overall construction with the roof top pool and sunset view, unique rooms (no Motel 6 here), staff (especially Oscar!), the surrounding neighborhood and bars/restaurant's, the courtyard breakfast, bar and bartender……really everything. Did l mention the staff?!!👍 The owner,Tom, lives close to us in California and is often on property which makes it feel even more like an inn than a hotel. We dive with a group that comes every year and we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.👍👍🙂

This hotel is a secret gem!! You can see the water from The balcony! It’s adorable! Rooms are very spacious!! Oscar was incredible for breakfast!! Please leave him a tip. I didn’t have cash so I couldn’t leave him anything. You are surrounded by shops and restaurants too!! It’s super safe! I left car on street and had zero problems! I actually miss being here! Breakfast was amazing ! I had French toast and the fruit dish!! I can’t wait to go back!

I liked that it was a quaint Mexican style hotel that was very clean with fantastic breakfasts and fantastic staff (especially Oscar). My only concern was that the internet wasn't good on the roof by the pool or in the rooms (at least on the 3rd floor) but was good on the main floor.

Close to central Cozumel - 3 blocks to the ferry terminal. Plenty of restaurants and tourist kinds of shopping nearby. Room was clean and quite large - modern. Not a cookie cutter hotel. Free breakfast was good - many selections. Roof top pool was refreshing.

Comfortable room, nice bed and pillows. Close to everything and Oscar, the concierge was outstanding! Helpful, knowledgeable and he has a great sense of humor. He MADE our stay!!! I cannot say enough about what a gem Oscar is. We will return!

We enjoy the location right in the heart of the city close to many great restaurants. Breakfast is very good with lots of options. Oscar was very friendly with many good ideas on activities and places to eat. Will come back!
