Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Slidell by IHG

The hotel was older which I’m ok with but the property is not well maintained. The carpet smells awful like it took on water and was never cleaned and the fixtures are old and dirty. My room seemed clean at first glance but I found it in need of wiping down before I felt comfortable. The plumbing is poor, the toilet has to be flushed multiple times to rid it of its contents and the “hot” water only actually gets warm. I probably will not stay at this property again.

We had excellent customer service. What little things we did have problems with were quickly addressed by the front desk staff.

Traveling and looked for a property to overnight. Description said restaurant and bar were available. That was not true. Staff was not helpful or particularly friendly. Room was just ok.

Appreciate that it was dog friendly and comfortable.

Everything. Horrible curb appeal. My room door had been kicked! I can tell because they a poor job of fixing it. The back door entrance handle was broken off when I left the next morning.
