Hampton Inn by Hilton Boston/Cambridge

Kind and friendly staff, easy check in and perfect location. Honestly, one of the best Hilton hotels experiences we’ve had. Zero complaints.

From arrival until departure, we had a great stay at this Hampton Inn. The people at the front desk were very friendly, and took the time to give us a map of the T line and clearly mark what trains to take for the places we wanted to go. It helped us immensely. The T line is a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. It was safe and well lit at night. The room we had was a king room on the street side. It was quiet, very clean and the design was well thought out. Ample drawer space, a closet and a lot of hooks in the bathroom and the room. There were plenty of outlets and charging ports. There are also blackout blinds so you weren't woken up by the sun. The breakfast had anything you could want to eat and lots of tables and spaces to eat. There's even nice seating next to it in the lobby if you're meeting with others or just want to relax. Make sure you check in before you try and park. You need a room key to enter the parking garage. We had no problem parking, left the car and took the train whenever we went out. It was a great stay.

My flight was cancelled midafternoon and I was stranded in another city. All flights for the day into Boston were cancelled due to bad weather. I phoned as soon as I knew around 2-3 pm so not late. I called to cancel one night of my reservation and they said they couldn’t help because they had no manager on the weekend. So I had to incur the cost of two hotel stays in different cities that night. When I spoke to the manager Monday morning at checkout…She indicated if they had known earlier then they might have done something but the rate didn’t account for extenuating circumstances. Beyond that the breakfast was overcrowded and my room wasn’t service for the time I was there.
