Hampton Inn by Hilton Boston/Cambridge

I stay at this hotel once a year - it is well priced, clean and service is great. wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The Lechmere T station which used to be across the highway is now steps from the front door of the hotel! Perfect location! The staff was friendly and courteous and the room was updated, clean and comfortable.

Located across the street from Green Line Subway station (Lechmere) making it easy to get around Boston easy. Harvard is about a 20 minute drive. Even numbered rooms are next to train tracks while odd numbered rooms are street side. No real food options within walking distance of hotel. Free parking under hotel, there is limited space for parking and most of parking does require parallel parking.

I booked this hotel on the app for Jun 2026 selecting the Hilton honors discount rate. Not one of the two below it that said nonrefundable. Imagine my surprise when my card was charged in full the next day. Apparently in small print at checkout it states nonrefundable. The manager refused to cancel and refund as it is an event weekend. Another surprise for me. 8 months away they can easily resell the room and probably for more money but will not budge. Must not think much of their hotel. Long term Hilton Honors member no more.

Staff was great, but the rooms are very noisy (train nearby, not much noise insulation between rooms), carpet had huge stains, thermostat didn’t work. Not worth the price.
