Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Rancho Cordova/Folsom

Left early. Didn’t eat.

Large windows in our room. All night there were flood lights beaming through the windows. Shades were light weight and had no way of blocking the bright light. No drapes. Sleep was out of the question. The only reason we needed a hotel in the 2st place.

The frist room they gave us was not at all okay it smells bad n it was just not a good room for anyone but it was for handicap n pets.... it sure smells like it too... 💩 n cats n 🐕 im sorry but I had to tell them right away I was not staying in that room I told them I need another room if not I wasn't going to stay there... they gave me a new room... although the walk way smells like someone was smoking weed the room was alot better then the frist one

Not the cleanest the room we had smelled burnt too I think someone had burnt something in the microwave I checked the microwave was clean but it was a strong burn smell coming from it

Overall, the property and room were good. The floor we stayed had renovation going on so a little messy and dusty.

Parking is very limited so one night had to park in nearby McDonalds parking lot.

Perfect for us- we could walk across to the waterfront t for the crew racing we had come to see

Noisy, Fire alarm batteries dying and alarm chirping kept me awake, sketchy people at hotel and outside hotel, delays in room service, dusty room, and weird smell in room.
