Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina

Terrible THe atention was terrible 1.-Check in process extremely slow (more than 45 min) 2.-Room with Air Conditioner not working I called to reception and went personally there and Anatoly was rough and told me no other rooms you have to wait for repair ,it was around 4pm 3.-When I came back after midnight the Air Conditones was not working,reception did not want again to change me to other room instead of that the receptionist told me "open the window" despite that the room has no windows is only one door facing the balcony.. 4.-i had to spend the night sitting at the balcony due to the hot room Is that a good service.?

This hotel is huge and made for the masses of Russian tourist during summer. There is nothing special about this hotel. Breakfast is just a mass production of unhealthy food. Also security is an issue. I had someone come into my room during the middle of the night. They gave no explanation or apology.

Rude staff at most touch points. Clearly they don’t often deal with foreigners or a large World Cup crowd, but that is no excuse to be rude. It’s also old, rundown and the rooms tiny. The airconditioning isn’t regulated well and i don’t think they clean the filters often: gym is good - but u have to pay extra for it...what the?!?

I was expecting brochures for tours around the area. unfortunately there was none and the tour guide did not take us to the Olympic village which I was very very interested. We also missed another important spot which was tea plantations at high altitudes.

Great location ! Great facility and condition ! I live in USA and it has everything we have here at a 4 stars hotel ! Building is old but in great condition ! Staff is kind ! I was there for World Cup Soccer ! Cons : I paid for 2 persons, 2 beds, but beds were joined together with no space in the middle. I will love to come back Sochi, but as turist city, we would like to communicate . It is hard when staff does not speak another language than English ! Hotel will have more visitors around the world if staff speaks good English ! It was frustrating for both parties ; Staff and turists.

La ubicación es espectacular! Es un hotel grande con varios servicios, sin embargo le falta mantenimiento. Muchas áreas están despintadas, los ascensores son pequeños y antiguos, tienen algunos focos quemados y inodoro de mi habitación no estaba correctamente anclado. La comida no es muy buena en el buffet y tienen un problema para comunicarse en inglés. También reconozco que fui durante el mundial y había una sobredemanda que pudo afectar el servicio en general.
