Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Eagan, MN

The property was near the other destinations we wanted to travel to. The suite we booked had plenty of room. The hotel had a pool.

The lobby, breakfast area, and hallways didn’t have air conditioning. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly - they also didn’t keep the complimentary coffee or cookies stocked. The elevator was rickety and the light was mostly out. Breakfast was mediocre. There was only 1 cart to use to transport luggage.

We chose this location due to its proximity to Como Park and The Mall of America - both were about 15 to 20 minutes. The first thing we noticed about this hotel was the lobby/breakfast area are not air conditioned. Breakfast is free but it is the same basic food every day with the occasional sausage-potato switch. Consists of 2 waffle makers, cereal, yogurt, eggs, and juice. Complimentary hot coffee and cookies were nearly always empty. The elevator was slow and scary due to the rickety door. There’s only 1 cart to use for bags which was inevitably always taken by someone else. There are NO CRIBS. The room was large and clean. You could hear people out in the hallways too easily in my opinion. When we arrived, there was a crew painting or doing construction on our floor which I personally thought was weird. Overall, it wasn’t horrible but we don’t plan on choosing this location again in the future.

Waited 10 mins to check in. Understand why that can happen but it was every time you went there. Also breakfast everything was always empty

Liked that the coffee was available 24 hours a day.

My only complaint is that two individuals unlocked my hotel door, I immediately said this room was occupied and one of the gentleman announced that he was maintenance and they where just checking to see if the room was empty. I informed them that u was here until Monday and asked if they needed entry in which they replied no. Not even two seconds later they tried entering my room luckily the door had the safety locks in place so they could only open the door a few inches. It is absolutely ridiculous if the hotel dose not log which rooms are empty and which ones are booked, furthermore it is unacceptable that it was established that to room was occupied yet they still tried to enter my room.

Near a couple restaurants and Walmart and other shops are about 11 minutes away in car.

Rooms and lobby not well maintained. No ac in lobby.

Everything was dated and dirty. Staff didn't care or apologize. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
