Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass

Great facility Loved the place

The Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass is a terrific hotel! It is such a unique hotel located in the desert with many wonderful amenities. It has many activities for anyone's taste. My wife and I decided to do the two person water peddling boat which takes about an hour to fully complete. It was so peaceful and saw some nice birds and ducks along the route. Julia who manages the area was so sweet and helpful. The front desk team including Max who checked us in was fantastic. He even kindly walked us to the water activity area personally to make sure. The entire team at the restaurant Ko'sin was great both at dinner, breakfast and our lunch. FB director Mr. Benner was very kind and even had chocolate strawberries delivered to our room for my wife who loves them. The food across all three meals was quite delicious. The rooms were beautifully designed as well. It should not be surprising what a special property this is because it has long standing management team led by GM Mr. Ahamed who has been at the property for over 20 years.. He is friendly, responsive, and clearly sets the high standard and strong values of the associates. Ms. Schmitz who works with Mr. Ahamed and been at the property similar a long time was so helpful, gracious, and proactive helping ensure our stay was impeccable. The warm hospitality including nice notes, treats, and gifts were quite thoughtful and very much appreciated. My wife and I are quite excited to return to this amazing property! This is one of the best hotels in all of Arizona and the best Sheraton property in the world. Anyone who comes to Arizona would regret not staying at such a special and unique property with a world class team!

Amazing property. Very clean and wonderful amenities. Nice hiking trails around the property and golf course. Quiet and away from it all while also close to everything you would need.

We stayed 5 nights at the Sheridan Grand at Wild Horse Pass. From check in to check out, our whole experience was very positive. The restaurants were good, the pool was relaxing and the staff there were very attentive. We would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Scottsdale.

Pros: The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel common areas are beautiful and inspiring. Enjoyed walking the trails and surrounding area. The buffet breakfast was very good. Cons: Upon checking in, the front desk person insisted that my reservation was for member price and I can only get that price if I join their membership. I told her that I am always very careful with my reservations and I did not select the member option and no where on my confirmation email, it says this is a member price. She kept repeating herself and saying that she does not know if and where on email would say the price option. I chose to pay $$/day above my reservation price. I do not care that they offer free membership. I did not choose their hotel to be part of their club. They should be upfront with their prices. If they have multiple options, they should identify that in their reservation email to be fully transparent with their guests.

By far the best hospitality I have ever experienced! Everything from the room to the food to the service from hotel staff was superior. Pool is warm enough to enjoy when it’s 60+ degrees and sunny outside. We had fun doing the paddle boats, walking the trails and seeing the horses. Nightly social snd entertainment. And a plus is the nearby outlet stores and casino (we were winners). Shout out to Mica, Kim, Steve and Aliya!

Loved the location!

We are from New England and just returned from a fabulous 8 day family vacation. I gave a 5 star rating based on this resort fitting the bill for what WE were looking for, which was Horseback riding, trail walks, fitness and pool time. It was also very remote and quiet which we loved!! First and foremost, this hotel knocks customer service out of the park. Mike was the first person to greet us and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every single server at the pool, lounge and restaurant was incredible. Ashley, Matt, Jess, Alex, Jasmine, Norah, to name a few (others I cannot recall names), they were all incredible. While the front desk crew was curteous, there is absolutely no welcoming info when you are assigned your room. It is a huge resort with a ton to do, but they do not offer any maps or info that gives you a head start. No concierge either. I was able to find some fylers and apparently there is an app they want you to use to see what the daily activities are. But a bit more of welcoming info or brief orientation would be helpful and much appreciated. Not a huge deal, but just my experience. Now, for you foodies, you may find this resort or surrounding area limiting. There is no complimentary coffee or even light continental breakfast offering. The little coffeeshop is pricey but we made due with fruit and bagel etc. We ate at Kosin one night and it was good. We splurged twice on Prime Steakhouse right on the reservation at the casino and they have a shuttle that will take you. Very convenient! We found a great family Italian restaurant called Oregano about a 15 min uber in Chandler. I am nervouse on the highway 10 and it was a safe uber drive on quiet road. Lunch was at the pool with a nice selction and again delightful service. The real draw for us was the horse riding center a 7 min shuttle from the resort. We took 3 trail rides that were outstanding (see my review on the Koli Equestrian center.) For the hot sleepers that like a very cool room for sleeping, they have a sensor system that requires movement to cool. Hotels do this now so I usually deal with this on my check in day. The AC would go into sleep mode quite frequently requiring me to turn it down alot but it was managable. They brought me up a nice big fan which really helped keep the room comfy!! The only real negative that was a huge inconvenience at this resort was the lack of guest laundry!!! We were there to be active! With horse riding on site and the amount of trail walks, cardio and the dust in the desert, having fresh, clean clothes on vacation is a must!!!! I wish they would consider this as if we return in the future, we would have to limit our stay as there is no way to pack enough wardrobe for long stays without cleaning clothes. They do have a service, but it is cost per single item, so for a family of 4 it would be serveral hundred dollars for a small load. I did not deduct starts on my review for this but it is an issue for stays longer that 3-4 days so be aware. All in All a wonderful time at the Sheraton Wild Pass!! Highly recommend!
