The Sunshine Hotel and Suites

The rooster was loud but amusing. I know they do whatever they like and I miss having chickens.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunshine Suites the room was the perfect size and was very very clean!!! The hotel staff were all very nice and very helpful with getting taxi’s and for restaurant/activity recommendations. While there be sure to eat at the grill the food was amazing!!! Thank you for a great stay!!!!

Location was good. Room was absolutely horrible. It was a small, musty dirty motel room. Smelled of mildew. Absolutely over priced. They charge many extras on the amount quoted on the room rate- beware of this. They will not remove your room deposit for up to 10 days. When I inquired about why my room rates wereso high ( $700) Canadian on the basic king ( which by the way is not a king) they shrug their shoulders and say they don’t know . The general manager told me to take it up with my bank .

Rooms are old, over priced and the front desk is dishonest with their charges.

Great location and less expensive than the Westin. Restaurant very good. Beds comfortable and clean sheets each day. Hotel rooms need updating, which I believe they are doing. We would return

The location of the resort was perfect and great that we could use the facilities of the Westin, which is where the purpose of my trip was centered around. The room was large with a lounge area so it was nice to have the extra space and the bed was comfortable. The room was fine for the purpose of my trip and had everything I needed. The onsite staff were helpful and the restaurant was reasonable and did great tacos!

The room was a little tired and definitely needs refurbishing, but it wouldn't stop me from staying there again if the rates were lower as I felt it was a little overpriced but it was over thanksgiving.

It was easy check in and convenient location.

This place was great. A little gem. First off the staff was very friendly and willing to help with any questions as needed as well as room assignment. Everyone that worked their was so friendly. I preferred a one bedroom suite as I was there for over a week. The hotel of course would be less fancy per se than across the street at Westin, but the ability to use all Westin amenities and charge to room was a major major selling point, esp access to beach. All seamless, never an issue with getting a seat or anything when I went. Sunshine Grille on property had great breakfast (they serve lunch and dinner too) that I enjoyed poolside. Free parking, plenty of spots. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. And a great value for the price. Would for sure stay again.
