"Grandiose Lage, Unterkunft mit Abstrichen"

Die Lage ist grandios! Mitten am See, beim Frühstück Blick auf das komplette Panorama. Das Frühstück war traumhaft, hier war das Personal auch außergewöhnlich nett und engagiert.

Zu aller erst: um an das Hotel zu kommen, muss man 30 Dollar für den Eintritt zum Nationalpark zahlen. Für eine einzige Übernachtung hat das den Gesamtpreis natürlich nach oben getrieben. Das Personal an der Rezeption war extrem unfreundlich und nicht hilfsbereit. Die Hotelzimmer sind - im Gegensatz zur restlichen Anlage - stark in die Jahre gekommen und sind auch was Sauberkeit angeht, nicht fehlerfrei.

Great view in the dining room. Staff were at our table constantly to refill glasses, remove dirty dishes, etc.

Spazi grandi e ben arredati, molte piscine a disposizione e anche offerta di ristoranti per vari menu e fasce di prezzo

Numero di asciugamani per la piscina limitato a 2 per una stanza da 4 persone. Il bar per la colazione alle 7 aveva finito già tutti i dolci tranne un paio di muffin

"Misleading Boat Ride in Lake Powell"

We booked a 3.5 hour tour on Lady Bird, a two tiered cruise boat, through Lake Powell Resort. I received a confirmation for the boat immediately and another one the day before travel. We got to the dock at the appointed time and we were then directed to board Emma, Lady Bird's sister ship, even though Lady Bird was docked right next door. Emma has no seats on the top deck and only twenty people can be up on the deck at a time while Lady Bird has a plethora of seats on the top deck. As we boarded, Emma's boat captain told us that since we only had thirty-four people on our tour we had to take Emma because Lady Bird was for the full capacity tour. TOTALLY MISLEADING ADVERTISING!!! If we wanted to be in the fresh air not breathing the gas smells on the first level of Emma, we had to sit on the top deck floor just on our butts leaning against the railing or sitting up straight. For some people that is ok but for the majority of people IT IS NOT. We also had to adhere to the twenty people maximum so people were up and down the stairs constantly. All in all this was a very disappointing experience especially when you consider what we paid for a guided tour of Lake Powell which included resting comfortably in chairs on the top deck! BUYER BEWARE... They advertise for an open air comfortable experience and you might not get it!
