"Terrific stay."

We were very happy at the Homewood Suites. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved the large L shaped couch and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The shower was hot and water pressure was very good. We found the hotel was quiet, both from the hallway and the street. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We liked that the hotel was secure - a hotel key card was required to get in the main doors. The area was good - right on the edge of the CBD. It was away from the main tourist areas and far enough away from Canal Street (where we felt rather unsafe at night). Yet only 10 mins walk down to the river, to the outlet shopping mall or in the other direction to the French Quarter. The laundry was easy to use and the pool area was very nice. We would absolutely stay at the Homewood Suites if we returned to New Orleans.

Great location, friendly staff and our room was spacious and clean.

It was a bit difficult to get in and out of the shower/tub combo. Definitely ask for a walk-in shower if you have mobility issues.
