Ancient River Villa

Nice and cozy hotel, great view over the rice fields, large and comfy bedrooms, very friendly owner, bikes are for free, great breakfast (you can choose from a menu, always fresh fruits included).

We were made very welcome and Jom helped us throughout our stay sorting out taxis and giving us local information. The free bikes were really useful to cycle through the tranquil vegetable area and on to the beach. Breakfast was very good. A choice from about five options including one local version followed by a platter of fresh fruit. More than enough to set us up for the day. The location is a little bit away from Hoi An but a taxi is inexpensive around 75.000 VND. We found it a bonus to be out the busy centre. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Maid service every day. Air conditioning excellent.

As mentioned it is a bit out of town. We didn't take free bikes into town as roads are quite busy. Otherwise there was nothing we didn't appreciate

The property is located just outside of Hoi An town. It is close enough to be convenient but far enough away to not be too busy. The free bycicle rental was great as we could get to Hoi An quickly. We also rented Scooters for a day at 150,000 dong each. Breakfast was good and she even cooked me local dishes for breakfast that weren't on the menu. It is a small family run business and the host was very very friendly.

PARADISE! this was our 3rd visit to Vietnam over 8 years, each time stopping off in Hoi-an, We stayed this time for 3 nights at the Ancient River Villa, situated between the lovely An bang beach and the old town, a fabulous place to stay, very peaceful, very clean and comfortable. Kin the owner was a fantastic host, a fine English speaker and very informative regarding things to see and do in the surrounding area, breakfast is included, Kin would offer European style breakfast and also local specialities such as Cau Lau, Pho, Mi quang etc, I can't praise the hotel & host enough, it was a 10 out of 10 stay, would have loved to have extended our stay but due to the 30 day visa restriction in place now we are heading down to Ho Chi Minh city and out of Vietnam 😭☕🌴🙂🇻🇳

Unfortunately I could only stay for two nights. A very lovely experience. The location is not in the center of the city. But it can be reached very easy by bicycle the property provides for free. On the other hand it’s very quiet there and also close to the beach. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast (several options offered) is very yummy. Ancient River Villa provides private Airport transfer to a reasonable price (better than grab).

The staff/owner was very nice and helpful! The old town is 10 minutes by scooter, and the beach is 5 minutes away. If you want quiet evenings and a delicious breakfast, this accommodation will be a good choice.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Check in was really easy, hosts really friendly too. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy, air con worked great and the wifi was fantastic. Bathroom big and towels provided and some toothbrushes, toothpaste etc. This place is fantastic value for money, kept very clean and made the beds for us when we went out too. We stayed in for one of the days as the weather was rainy and ordered food in and the hosts didn't have a problem with this either. Location was good, they offer free bicycles and also scooters to hire for the day. Hoi an lantern market is close by (ten minute drive) and defo worth a visit. Also stop by the lantern lady to make your own lanterns if you have a chance. There was a massive storm and caused a power outage to the entire area, hosts were helpful with this and brought us a little light to keep in the room until the power came back. This place is someones home as well and they do lock up so just be respectful about what time you come back.

The shower area in the bathroom isn't closed off and when you shower the entire bathroom ends up wet, not necessarily a bad thing but just be cautious to not leave clothes or towels on the floor unless you want them to end up soaked!

Lovely clean villa with friendly helpful owners. Set in quiet area close to Ang Bang beach and vegetable village.They provide bicycles and its lovely riding around the rice fields and vegetable village. Breakfast provided is good. Room is spacious and modern with very nice bathroom.
