The Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club

An excellent location with beautiful views of wooded hills all around. The staff were so very warm and welcoming, always giving of their best and nothing was too much for them. The environment was clean, light and airy and the rooms were comfortably furnished with plenty of space ro relax in. The restaurant staff were very efficient and well organised. The menus were comprehensive with a great variety and the food was of a very high standard. We were not rushed and were able to enjoy an evening of relaxed conversation. Would thoroughly recommend this venue. Thank you all for a wonderful break.

We recently had our wedding here 01/05/2026. It was a very intimate wedding with just 22 family guests. It was just spectacular from the moment we arrived. Every detail was exceptional — the staff’s warmth, care, and attention, the beautiful rooms, and the incredible food were all absolutely five-star. A very special mention must go to Leanne Humphreys, who was simply amazing. Leanne was angelic and dynamic — calm, unbelievably organised, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She created the most memorable, magical, & very relaxing day for me and my husband, and we will be forever grateful for everything she did for us. Thank you to the entire staff ( Aine & Lavinia too ) for giving us the best memories ever to cherish & we will be back soon to stay again .

Very relaxing atmosphere for a romantic weekend. The location is amazing, with that beautiful view. Friendly and kind staff. The food, both restaurant/breakfast and bar, is delicious.

The bathroom is a bit aged.

The steam room was broken the man on reception could not speak full English and was so rude he said we only had booked one night when it was two a very nasty guy

He could be sacked

Really good location, staff were extremely friendly, room was spacious.

The beds were uncomfortable, linens scratchy and pillows very bad quality. No amenities in the room, e.g. only thing in the shower was a shampoo & body wash combo, no face towels, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, grooming kit, etc. Which is fine, but for a 4-star hotel I would expect better.

Lovely location but old and faded . It’s kept going by some good members of staff. When we checked into our room our window was open and all I could hear was the massive aircon unit outside . Could not close window. Neither could the helpful and understanding staff member ( Padraig). He then went and made up another room for us at 10.30 pm at night.

Shabby and tired.

The location is beautiful, amazing views from the restaurants and room. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Good value as well. The food was lovely.
