The Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club

The hotel is placed in remote location, so telling hotel guests that there is no room in the main restaurant for the dinner during check-in is quite awkward. Especially in the situation when the room was booked way ahead and I was in touch twice before we arrived. Not the nicest birthday stays we had.

A very enjoyable few days, arrived very early and immediately were allowed to check in (8am) as the hotel was quiet. The room was upgraded to a family room and beds and surroundings were comfortable, tidy and well presented. Breakfast is benchmark and staff are polite and professional. The leisure club and swimming pool area are also clean and have all the facilities that you would expect. Hotel is well located for hill walking and cycling. Overall very impressed and would have no reservations about recommending. We for sure will be returning sometime in the near future. A special mention to the lovely receptionist Ampika Sengsui who real is an asset to the hotel and tourism in Ireland. I would recommend an award for this employee. Great pint of Guinness in the main bar.
